Texas Instruments ADS1146, ADS1147, and ADS1148 16-bit analog-to-digital converters (ADCs) for temperature sensors feature data output rates up to 2kSPS and a single-cycle settling digital filter for all data rates. The TI ADS1147 and ADS1148 also provide a built-in voltage reference with 10mA output capacity and two matched programmable current DACs. The ADS1146, ADS1147, and ADS1148 provide a complete front-end solution for temperature sensor applications including thermal couples, thermistors, and resistance temperature detectors (RTDs).

ADS1148EVM is an evaluation board that uses the ADS1148 and minimal circuitry to demonstrate functionality for prototyping and part evaluation. The pins of the ADS1148 are accessible through various connections on the ADS1148EVM connectors. The EVM can be plugged into suitable motherboards such as the ADS1148EVM-PDK to work directly with any personal computer.
