Texas Instruments ADC16DX370 Dual 16-Bit Analog-to-Digital Converter is a monolithic dual-channel high performance analog-to-digital converter capable of converting analog input signals into 16-bit digital words with a sampling rate of 370 MSPS. This converter uses a differential pipelined architecture with integrated input buffer to provide excellent dynamic performance while maintaining low power consumption. The integrated input buffer eliminates charge kickback noise coming from the internal switched capacitor sampling circuits and eases the system-level design of the driving amplifier, anti-aliasing filter, and impedance matching. An input sampling clock divider provides integer divide ratios with configurable phase selection to simplify system clocking. An integrated low-noise voltage reference eases board level design without requiring external decoupling capacitors. The output digital data is provided through a JESD204B subclass 1 interface from a 56-pin, 8mm × 8mm WQFN package. A SPI is available to configure the device that is compatible with 1.2V to 3.0V logic.

ADC16DX370EVM Evaluation Module (EVM)

Texas Instruments ADC16DX370EVM Evaluation Module (EVM) is used for evaluation of the ADC16DX370. The ADC16DX370 is a low power, 16-bit, 370MSPS analog to digital converter (ADC) with a buffered analog input, and outputs. It features a JESD204B interface operating at up to 7.4Gb/s. The EVM has transformer coupled analog inputs to accommodate a wide range of signal sources and frequencies. A LMK04828 is placed on the EVM and can be optionally configured to provide an ultra-low-jitter ADC Device clock and SYSREF for a complete JESD204B subclass 1 clocking solution. The ADC16DX370 and LMK04828 are controlled through an easy to use software GUI to enable quick configuration for a variety of uses.

TSW14J10 Evaluation Module (EVM)

Texas Instruments TSW14J10 Evaluation Module (EVM) allows users the capability to evaluate TI JESD204B family of high-speed converters. The designer can use existing FPGA vendor development platforms with the TI High Speed Data Converter Pro Graphic User Interface. This low cost solution works on most FPGA development boards that contain a High Pin Count (HPC) FPGA to Mezzanine Card (FMC) connector which has the FGPA JTAG interface routed to this connector or to a separate JTAG connector.

TSW14J56 Evaluation Module (EVM)

Texas Instruments TSW14J56 Evaluation Module (EVM) is a next generation of pattern generator and data capture card. It is used to evaluate the performances of TI's JESD204B family of high-speed analog-to-digital converters (ADC) and digital-to-analog converters (DAC). Populated with an Arria V GZ device and using Altera's JESD204B IP solution, the TSW14J56 can be dynamically configurable to support all lanes speeds from 600Mbps to 12.5Gbps, from 1 to 8 lanes, 1 to 16 converters, and 1 to 4 octets per frame. Together with the accompanying High Speed Data Converter Pro Graphic User Interface (GUI), it is a complete system that captures and evaluates data samples from ADC EVM's and generates and sends desired test patterns to DAC EVM's.

TSW16DX370EVM Evaluation Module (EVM)

Texas Instruments TSW16DX370EVM Evaluation Module (EVM) is a reference design board used to evaluate a receiver IF super-heterodyne subsystem solution. This includes the TRF37B32 dual down-converting mixer; LMH6521 dual digitally controlled variable gain amplifier; ADC16DX370 dual channel 16-bit analog-to-digital converter; LMX2581 wideband frequency synthesizer; and LMK04828 ultra low jitter synthesizer and jitter cleaner. This evaluation module features a wide RF input range from 700-2700MHz and IF bandwidth of over 100MHz. It has a sampling rate of 368.64MSPS and an output high-speed serial data rate of 7.37Gb/s. Each is derived from an onboard 61.44MHz reference oscillator. Two LC bandpass filters at the IF provide significant anti-aliasing protection and flat passband response. The signal chain achieves 28.7dB of power gain with variable gain control down to -2.8dB in 0.5dB steps.

TSW2170EVM Evaluation Module (EVM)

Texas Instruments TSW2170EVM Evaluation Module (EVM) is a very clean 70MHz source designed for the purposes of providing an input signal for testing TI ADC devices. The EVM includes a 70MHz crystal oscillator, an amplifier and a 70MHz Crystal filter with 16kHz band pass response. The output of the TSW2170EVM is set to about 10dBm, approximately 2Vpp, with typical harmonic performance greater than 80dBc. This is the appropriate peak to peak swing required by most TI ADCs. The TSW2170 can be easily powered from a 5V source such as a lab supply or from the 5V source of the TSW2200EVM (Low Cost Portable Power Supply).
