Step-Down Voltage Regulators

Texas Instruments LMR10510 / LMR10515 / LMR10520 Step-Down Voltage Regulators are monolithic, high frequency, PWM devices providing all the active functions for local DC/DC conversion with fast transient response and accurate regulation in the smallest possible PCB area. TI LMR10510 and LMR10515 drive 1A and 1.5A loads, respectively, with an internal 130mΩ PMOS switch while the LMR10520 drives 2A loads with an internal 150mΩ PMOS switch. The world-class control circuitry of these step-down voltage regulators allows on-times as low as 30ns for exceptionally high frequency conversion over the entire 3V to 5.5V input operating range down to the minimum output voltage of 0.6V. Switching frequency is internally set to 1.6 or 3.0MHz, allowing the use of extremely small surface mount inductors and chip capacitors.
