The Silicon Labs C8051F98x devices further expand the industry-leading low power C8051F9xx product family to address smaller memory, lower power, more cost-sensitive microcontroller applications. Available in 2, 4 and 8 kB Flash sizes, the C8051F98x devices are the most cost effective in the Silicon Labs’ F9xx ultra low power series. The F9xx family was designed from the ground up to offer the industry’s lowest power n active, sleep and deep sleep modes. In addition to ultra low power, the C8051F98x integrates an internal precision oscillator, 12-bit ADC, voltage reference, 4 timers and a 25 MHz processor all in a tiny 3 mm x 3 mm package.

Silicon Labs QuickSense™ C8051F99x

The QuickSenseC8051F99x MCUs combine the industry-leading low power technology of the C8051F9xx family with the fast and accurate capacitive sensing features of the QuickSense C8051F7xx/8xx families to address the fast-growing capacitive touch application market. Available with up to 14 capacitive sensing inputs, the F99x products are the industry’s first microcontrollers with a sub micro amp (<1 μA) wake on touch average current consumption. The C8051F99x provides easy and reliable support for capacitive buttons, sliders, wheels, and capacitive proximity sensing. It comes complete with QuickSense Studio, a software environment to program, debug, and analyze capacitive touch sense, proximity sense, and ambient light sense solutions. In addition, the C8051F99x integrates 8 kB of Flash, an internal precision oscillator, 12-bit ADC, voltage reference, 4 timers, and a 25 MHz processor all in a tiny 3x3 mm package.
