Silicon Labs' Si70xx Relative Humidity & Temperature Sensors utilize proven techniques for measuring humidity using polymer dielectric film along with CMOS mixed signal integrated circuits. These monolithic ICs combine fully calibrated humidity and temperature sensing elements, an I2C interface and on-chip signal conditioning into a compact, rugged and reliable package.

Si7006/13/20/21 I2C Relative Humidity & Temperature Sensors

Silicon Labs Si7006/13/20/21 I2C Relative Humidity & Temperature Sensors combine fully factory-calibrated humidity and temperature sensor elements with an analog to digital converter, signal processing and an I2C host interface. Patented use of industry-standard low-K polymer dielectrics provides excellent accuracy and long term stability, along with low drift and low hysteresis. The innovative CMOS design also offers the lowest power consumption in the industry for a relative humidity and temperature sensor. The Si7013/20/21 devices are designed for high-accuracy applications, while the Si7006 is targeted toward lower-accuracy applications that traditionally have used discrete RH/T sensors.

Si7007/22/23 PWM Relative Humidity & Temperature Sensors

Silicon Labs Si7007/22/23 PWM Relative Humidity & Temperature Sensors combine fully factory-calibrated humidity and temperature sensor elements with an analog to digital converter, signal processing and two PWM outputs. The PWM outputs can easily be filtered to produce an analog voltage. Patented use of industry-standard low-K polymer dielectrics provides excellent accuracy and long term stability, along with low drift and low hysteresis. The Si7022/23 devices are designed for high-accuracy applications, while the Si7007 is targeted toward lower-accuracy applications that traditionally have used discrete RH/T sensors.

Si7050/3/4/5 I2C Digital Temperature Sensors

Silicon Labs Si7050/3/4/5 I2C Digital Temperature Sensors offer industry-leading low power consumption and high accuracy across the entire operating voltage and temperature range. These monolithic CMOS ICs feature a band-gap temperature sensor element, an analog-to-digital converter with up to 14-bit resolution, signal processing, calibration data, and an I2C interface. The patented use of novel signal processing and analog design enables the sensors to maintain their accuracy over a wide temperature and voltage range, while consuming very little current. The temperature sensors are factory-calibrated and the calibration data is stored in the on-chip non-volatile memory. This ensures that the sensors are fully interchangeable, with no recalibration or software changes required.

Si7005 Digital Relative Humidity & Temperature Sensor

Silicon Labs Si7005 Digital Relative Humidity & Temperature Sensor integrates humidity and temperature sensor elements, an analog-to-digital converter and signal processing in a single monolithic CMOS sensor IC. Both the humidity and temperature sensors are factory-calibrated and the calibration data is stored in on-chip non-volatile memory. The Si7005 humidity and temperature sensor is packaged in a 4mm x 4mm QFN package and is reflow solderable.

Si7015 Digital Relative Humidity & Temperature Sensor

Silicon Labs' Si7015 Digital Relative Humidity & Temperature Sensor integrates humidity and temperature sensor elements, an analog-to-digital converter and signal processing in a single monolithic CMOS sensor IC. Both the humidity and temperature sensors are factory-calibrated and the calibration data is stored in on-chip non-volatile memory. The Si7015 supports a fully-compliant I2C interface for easy connection to host MCUs. The Si7015 humidity and temperature sensor is packaged in a 4mm x 4mm QFN package, is reflow solderable and is pin-pin compatible with the Si7005.

Si7013EVB-UDP Unified Development Platform

Silicon Labs' Si7013EVB-UDP Unified Development Platform is a small daughter card that permits evaluation of the Si701x/2x family in conjunction with certain Unified Development Platform (UDP) components such as the C8051F960 Ultra-Low Power Microcontroller Development Kit (C8051F960-A-DK). The daughter card is designed to plug directly into UDP MCU cards for fast prototyping and software development. In addition to an on-board Si7013, there is a connector for adding a Si7013, Si7020 or Si7021 "postage stamp" daughter card via its flex cable, allowing the customer to place the sensor in a temperature/humidity chamber or a product prototype. The Si701x/2x postage stamp daughter cards are included in the Si7013USB-DONGLE kit (ordered separately).
