SUNCLIX Photovoltaic Connectors

Phoenix Contact SUNCLIX Photovoltaic Connectors are the first toolless connection system for photovoltaics. Phoenix Contact has developed DC connectors that can be assembled in the field specifically for cabling photovoltaic (PV) systems.

The SUNCLIX plug-in connector is delivered pre-assembled and the spring cage connection technology enables quick and easy on-site mounting without special tools. The TÜV-certified solar plug-in connector is suitable for typical photovoltaic cables with conductor cross sections of 2.5 to 6 mm² and transmits a current of up to 40 A at up to 1100 V. SUNCLIX is compatible with surge protection sets from Phoenix Contact and solar inverters from SMA.

SUNCLIX - easy and safe mounting

With SUNCLIX, mounting couldn't be simpler:


1. Insert the stripped conductor,
2. Close spring contact,
3. Tighten the screw connection - and you're done!
4. Release with screwdriver

The female connector and male connector can then easily be plugged together manually. An integrated lock that can only be loosened with a screwdriver prevents the accidental loosening of the DC plug-in connection when subjected to loads.

Phoenix Contact SUNCLIX DC Panel Feed-Through Connectors feature device integration that allows for cabling inverters or generator connection boxes quickly and easily - even in locations that are difficult to access. SUNCLIX Panel Feed-Through include versions for conductor cross sections from 2.5mm2 to 6mm2. These connectors feature voltages up to 1100V or 1500V and IP68 protection.

Phoenix Contact SUNCLIX mini Photovoltaic Connectors are a miniature connection system for building-integrated photovoltaics. This new DC plug-in system in miniature format provides a permanently reliable and stable connection from the module to the inverter. Using SUNCLIX mini, it is possible to absorb energy from the entire surface of a building. The compact design of the plug-in connectors enables concealed installation behind the PV modules or direct installation within the facade frames.
