Omron's G9EN DC Power Relays enable downsizing, weight saving, and non-polarization in the main contact circuit (contact terminal) by using a proprietary design of the contact block. The G9EN relays contribute to improvements in the ease of wiring and mounting, and error-proofing against faulty wiring. There has been a half-size reduction in volume and weight when compared to Omron's same class product (60A, 400VDC per Omron's internal investigation, August 2012) making the G9EN the smallest at 40x28x50mm (LxWxH) and lightest at approx. 140g in its class.
Omron's G9EA DC Power Relays are capable of interrupting high-voltage, high-current loads and switching 400V 60A/100A DC loads (capable of interrupting 600A at 300VDC max.). The switching section and driving section are gas-injected and hermetically sealed, allowing these compact relays to interrupt high-capacity loads. The sealed construction also requires no arc space, saves space, and helps ensure safe applications. Downsizing and optimum design allow no restrictions on the mounting direction. Terminal covers and DIN track adapters are also available for industrial applications. The G9EA series is UL/CSA standard UL508 approved.
Omron's G9EB DC Power Relays utilizes a unique gas-filled, fully sealed, non-ceramic construction achieved by using resin with a metal case. This reduces the need for special processing and materials that were required with previous models, resulting in a low-cost relay that is both compact and lightweight. The G9EB is the smallest and lightest in its class at 60x25x58mm (LxWxH) and approximately 135g. This is approximately half the volume and a third of the weight of other DC Power Relays in the same class. The unique design of the contact switching component and permanent magnet for blowing out the arc eliminates the need for polarity in the main circuit. This improves ease of wiring, and contributes to providing fail-safe measures against incorrect wiring.

Omron's G9EJ DC Power Relays achieve improvement of inrush-withstand performance and long-life by adopting Omron's own contact driving system. High capacity switching is achieved through the use of a high-efficiency magnetic arc blowout circuit. The G9EJs are small and lightweight with a size of 31x27x30mm (LxWxH) and weight of approx. 50g.
