NXP JN5139 IEEE 802.15.4 / ZigBee Modules

The NXP Semiconductors JN5139 family consists of a range of surface mount modules that enables users to implement systems using IEEE 802.15.4 or ZigBee with minimum time to market and low cost. NXP Semiconductors JN5139 modules are available in three basic variants. The JN5139-xxx-M00 features an integrated antenna. The JN5139-xxx-M01 / M03 comes with an antenna connector. The JN5139-xxx-M02 / M04 offers a power amplifier and LNA for extended range. These NXP wireless modules use a JN5139 IEEE 802.15.4 compliant microcontroller to provide a comprehensive solution with high radio performance and all RF components included. The MCU combines an on-chip 32-bit RISC core, high performance 2.4GHz transceiver, 192kB of ROM, and 96kB of RAM. A free, downloadable Software Developer Kit (SDK) provides a comprehensive Integrated Development Environment (IDE) to facilitate the development of application code. Libraries are included with the SDK that drive the peripherals of the JN5139 wireless microcontroller. They enable applications to call library functions via a simple Application Programming Interface (API).
