Intel SSD 530 Solid-State Drives (SSDs)

Intel's SSD 530 Solid-State Drive (SSD) Series utilizes its new small form factor, higher performance, and low Idle power to offer the next generation of consumer computing. These SSDs continue to evolve as these are aimed at a wide array of consumer platforms including Ultrabook™, traditional desktops and laptops, as well as the latest tablets and small form factor mobile systems. They offer high quality, reliable performance and low power consumption for space conscious computing using M.2, mSATA and 2.5” (7mm) form factors. These accelerate platform performance with sequential read and write performance up to 540 and 490 megabytes per second (MB/s). Random read and write input/output operations per second (IOPs) reach up to 41K and 80K respectively. With the Intel SSD 530 Series, your computer will blaze through the most demanding consumer client applications and easily handle intense multi-tasking. In addition to strong performance gains, they provide extended battery life through new lower power modes. Idle power consumption of Intel SSD 530 Series is reduced by >90% in comparison to a typical hard disc drive reducing power from watts to milliwatts.

Intel DC S3500 Solid-State Drives (SSDs)

Intel's DC S3500 Solid-State Drive (SSD) Series offers the next generation of data center SSDs combining fast consistent read performance with strong data protection, and leading edge 20nm flash technology. These SSDs deliver data at a rapid pace, with consistently low latencies and tight IOPS distribution. The DC S3500 delivers superior Quality of Service for applications such as video streaming/conferencing, virtual client support, and big data analytics. All of these applications benefit from 50μs typical latency with max read latencies of 500μs for 99.9% of the time and 4KB random read performance of up to 75,000 input/output operations per second (IOPS). Performance delivered with low active read power (less than 1.3 watts) means this Intel SSD helps improve data center efficiency with reduced energy costs. These SSDs offer Enhanced Power-Loss Data Protection which reduces potential data loss by detecting and protecting data from an unexpected system power loss. The drive saves all cached data in the process of being written prior to shutting down, thereby reducing potential data loss.
