Intel ICH7 I/O Controller Hubs

Intel's ICH7 I/O Controller Hubs provide extensive I/O support with functions and capabilities that include PCI Express, PCI Local Bus, ACPI power management, enhanced DMA controller, interrupt controller, and timer functions. These controller hubs include integrated Serial ATA host controllers with independent DMA operation, integrated IDE controller, USB host interface, integrated LAN controller, system management bus (SMBus), firmware hub (FWH) and serial peripheral interface (SPI) interfaces. These devices support Audio Codec ’97, Intel's High Definition Audio (HDA), Matrix Storage Technology (MST), and Active Management Technology (AMT).

  • Integrated 1.05V Voltage Regulator (INTVR) for the Suspend and LAN wells
