The Freescale Semiconductor i.MX 6 Series Processors unleash a scalable multicore platform that includes single-, dual-, and quadcore families based on the ARM® Cortex™-A9 architecture for next-generation consumer, industrial and automotive applications. By combining the power-efficient processing capabilities of the ARM Cortex-A9 architecture with leading edge 3D and 2D graphics, as well as high-definition video, the Freescale Semiconductor i.MX 6 Series Processors provide a new level of multimedia performance to enable an unbounded next generation user experience.

MCIMX6SLEVK i.MX 6 SoloLite Evaluation Kit

Freescale's MCIMX6SLEVK i.MX 6 SoloLite Evaluation Kit delivers the next installment in a line of highly-flexible, market-focused development tools with an Evaluation Kit based on the i.MX 6SoloLite applications processor. The i.MX 6 SoloLite is the first system-on-a-chip (SoC) incorporating a high-performance 1 GHz ARM® Cortex™-A9 CPU and integrated E Ink® and Sipix® display controllers to drive current and next-generation electronic paper display (EPD) panels. This evaluation kit enables EPD and/or LCD or HDMI display, touch control, audio playback as well as the ability to add WLAN, a 3G modem or Bluetooth® technology. Additionally, the EVK was designed to facilitate software development with the ultimate goal of faster time to market through the support of both Linux® and Android™ operating systems.


i.MX 6 SoloLite Evaluation Kit Daughter Cards

Freescale's MCIMX6SLEVK i.MX 6 SoloLite Evaluation Kit has three compatible daughter cards that can be used through the LCD extension slot available on the MCIMX6SLEVK. Those daughter cards are as follows:

*EVK does not natively support the resistive touch screen on the LCD and HDMI cards. Use a USB mouse to navigate when using the LCD or HMDI cards. Touch is supported on the EPDC card.
