Bluetechnix TCM-BF537 Tiny Core Module
with Analog Devices ADSP-BF537 Blackfin®

Bluetechnix TCM-BF537 Tiny Core Module is a chip size Core Module designed for industrial temperature range and volume production, powered by Analog Devices' single core ADSP-BF537 Blackfin® Processor. The module integrates the processor, up to 500MHz, 32MB SDRAM, 8MB flash, and power supply at a size of 28 x 28mm. Different connector options, such as Ball Grid Array (BGA), Border Pads (BP), and Connectors, provide solutions for all possible requirements. The Core-Module is designed for industrial usage, with a temperature range of -40ºC to +85ºC. It addresses 32MB SDRAM via its 16-bit wide SDRAM bus and has an onboard NOR-flash of 8MB.

  • Dynamic Core Voltage Control: Core voltage adjustable by setting software registers on the Blackfin processor; core voltage range: 0.8 – 1.32V
  • Peripherals available on all Core Module versions: SPORT 0, JTAG, UART0/UART1, CAN, TWI (I²C compatible), SPI (Serial Port Interface),
    PPI (Parallel Port Interface), Boot Mode Pins, GPIOs
  • Peripherals available on the Connector and BGA version only: Data Bus, Address Bus, Further GPIOs, Memory Control Signals
  • Smallest core module available, measuring only 28 x 28mm
  • Extended temperature range, suitable for industrial production

Also available! The eDEV-BF5xx development board is a feature rich, low cost rapid development platform, designed to decrease time-to-market of customized applications. It supports Bluetechnix' powerful Blackfin® based Core Modules like the eCM-BF561. The development board provides all interfaces on dedicated connectors and has all Core Module pins routed to solder pads which can be easily accessed by developers. Available interfaces include a high-speed serial port, which is directly connectable to a computer USB port, a USB 2.0 device controller, a LAN controller, and an SD-Card socket.
