Bluetechnix CM-BF537 Core Module
with Analog Devices ADSP-BF537 Blackfin®

Bluetechnix CM-BF537 Core Module is characterized by its field of application, performance, and configuration possibility, and is based on the high performance ADSP-BF537 from Analog Devices. The module integrates processor, RAM, flash, external peripheral controllers, and power supply at a size of 31.5 x 36.5mm. It addresses up to 64MB SDRAM via its 16-bit wide SDRAM bus, has an onboard NOR-flash of 4MB, and offers a CAN interface. The CM-BF537 is designed for commercial and industrial usage, and also offers the physical Ethernet transceiver (10/100Mbit) onboard.

  • Low Voltage Reset Circuit: Resets module if power supply goes below 2.93V
    for at least 140ms
  • Dynamic Core Voltage Control: Core voltage is adjustable by setting software registers on the Blackfin processor; core voltage range: 0.8–1.32V

The EVAL-BF5xx Blackfin Evaluation Board is a lightweight development platform, designed for evaluating all Blackfin Core Modules, and provides flexible interfaces for user specific extensions. The small baseboard has all hardware necessary to test the performance of the Core Modules including a high-speed serial port directly connectable to a computer USB port, a CAN Interface, and an SD-Card mass storage device socket.
