Axiomtek NANO830, NANO831 Nano-ITX Embedded Boards utilize Intel Atom™ dual core processors (D2550/N2600) to provide graphics-intensive performance and low-power consumption in a limited space. The NANO830 includes an integrated Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 3650 engine to support HD-rich content. The NANO830 also supports a DDR3 SO-DIMM with a maximum of 4GB of memory. On the Axiomtek NANO831, one DDR3 SO-DIMM on board implements up to 2GB of system memory. The NANO831 also features an Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 3600 with DX9 and OGL 3.0 support. The NANO830 and NANO831 boards provide an array of display interfaces including a VGA port and 24-bit dual channel LVDS interface with dual-view supported.

Intel D2550 Atom™ Processors

Intel D2550 Atom™ Processors are built on 32nm Hi-K process technology and are designed for a two-chip platform as opposed to the traditional three-chip platforms (processor, GMCH, and ICH). The two-chip platform consists of the processor and the Intel NM10 Express Chipset, and enables higher performance, lower cost, easier validation, and improved x-y footprint.

Included in this family of processors is an integrated memory controller (IMC), integrated graphics processing unit (GPU), and integrated I/O on a single silicon die. This single die solution is known as a monolithic processor. Intel's D2550 Atom Processors are 64-bit, dual-core processors providing a 1.86GHz clock speed and a max TDP of 10W.
