Axiomtek CAPA830/831 Embedded Boards support the newest Intel Atom™ processors with the Intel NM10 chipset. Fanless design makes the CAPA830/831 more reliable and stable while enabling smaller footprint system designs. The CAPA830 features an incredible low power and rugged design, offering a -20XC to +70XC wide temperature range and only requiring +12V DC power input. The CAPA831 lower power feature makes it an ideal board for automation, gaming, medical devices, self-serve terminal, and digital signage. Axiomtek CAPA830/831 Embedded Boards have one DDR3 SO-DIMM on board for implementing up to 4GB of system memory.



Axiomtek CAPA830 Embedded Boards

Axiomtek CAPA830 wide-temperature 3.5-inch embedded boards support the newest Intel Atom processor N2800 1.86GHz with the Intel NM10 chipset. With incredible low power and rugged design, it offers a -20XC to +70XC wide temperature range and only requires +12V DC power input. The fanless design also makes the CAPA830 more reliable and stable, without dust or noise issues. One DDR3 SO-DIMM on board implements up to 4GB of system memory. In addition to rich onboard I/Os, the CAPA830 adopts a ZIO connector on the rear-side that integrates PCIe x1, USB, LPC and SMbus expansion. Axiomtek's innovative ZIO extension form factor to extend multiple I/O helps system integrators to provide optimized solutions in a more cost-effective way. The CAPA830 embedded board offers an excellent balance between high performance and power-saving for space-limited and thermally constrained embedded applications.

Intel N2800 Atom Processors are built on 32nm Hi-K process technology and are designed for a two-chip platform as opposed to the traditional three-chip platforms (processor, GMCH, and ICH). The two-chip platform consists of the processor and the Intel NM10 Express Chipset, and enables higher performance, lower cost, easier validation, and improved x-y footprint.

Included in this family of processors is an integrated memory controller (IMC), integrated graphics processing unit (GPU), and integrated I/O on a single silicon die. This single die solution is known as a monolithic processor. Intel's N2800 Atom Processors are 64-bit, dual-core processors providing a 1.86GHz clock speed and a max TDP of 6.5W.

Axiomtek CAPA831 3.5-inch embedded boards are designed to support the newest ultra low power Intel Atom dual core processor D2550 1.86 GHz, N2800 1.86 GHz and N2600 1.6 GHz with the Intel NM10 Express chipset. The small form factor CAPA831 with lower power feature enables fanless designs and smaller footprint system designs.
