Avago's ACPL-K34T 2.5 Amp Automotive R²Coupler Gate Drive Optocoupler contains an AlGaAs LED, which is optically coupled to an integrated circuit with a power output stage. The ACPL-K34T features fast propagation delay and tight timing skew, is ideally designed for driving power MOSFETs used in AC-DC and DC-DC converters. The high operating voltage range of the output stage provides the drive voltages required by gate controlled devices.The voltage and high peak output current supplied by this optocoupler make it ideally suited for direct driving power MOSFETs at high frequency for high efficiency conversion. Avago R2Coupler isolation products provide reinforced insulation and reliability that delivers safe signal isolation critical in automotive and high temperature industrial applications.
