Analog Devices AD9557/8 Clock Translators

Analog Devices AD9557 / AD9558 Line Card Adaptive Clock Translators are low loop bandwidth clock multipliers that provide jitter cleanup and synchronization for many systems. ADI AD9557 generates an output clock synchronized to one or two external input references while AD9558 generates an output clock synchronized to one of up to four external input references. The digital PLL of these devices allows for reduction of input time jitter or phase noise associated with the external references. The digitally controlled loop and holdover circuitry of the AD9557/8 continuously generates a low jitter output clock even when all reference inputs have failed. These ADI devices operate over an industrial temperature range of −40°C to +85°C.
