Amphenol Industrial Helios H4 Solar Connectors offer cost-effective
solutions for all segments of the solar electric system while featuring a 40A rating, which is currently the highest current rating in the industry. The Helios H4 provides efficient, low loss power transfer through precision machined contacts utilizing RADSOK® technology. The H4 connectors offer high reliability for both thin film and crystalline silicon technologies. The H4 Solar Connectors feature a quick and easy, safe NEC 2008 compliant locking system with secure snap lock mating, making the H4 the most advanced solar connector available. The Helios H4 meets NEC 2008 standards "as is", with no additional components required. With a 25-year UV and ozone resistance, the Amphenol H4 Solar Connectors meet waterproof IP67 standards and withstand hydrolysis, oil, chemicals, abrasion, corrosion, and temperature extremes. The Amphenol Industrial Helios H4 Solar Connectors are fully intermateable with industry standard (MC4) connectors and are ready for field assembly with no small parts to lose. The RoHS compliant Helios H4 connectors are engineered to meet UL, TUV, IEC/CEI, NEC, and DIN V.
The Helios H4 Panel Connector offers higher current ratings and lower contact resistance resulting in lower power losses. Compatible with standard industry connectors, the Helios H4 Panel Connector is available in three different gauges including 14 AWG rated at 36A, 12 AWG rated at 45A, and 10 AWG rated at 52A.
NEW! Amphenol Industrial Helios H4 Solar Connectors have been expanded to
offer the 1st field-installable PV connectors that accept 8 gauge wire,
TUV-certified to 1500V, UL approved for use up to 1000V, and meet the
requirements of IEC EN 50521 Certificate #: R-72123201. Amphenol’s
Helios H4 Solar Connector stamped and formed contact option features a
wide back cap to accommodate bigger wire for the 1000V rating. This
option is ideal for use in large scale PV installations as well as 1000V
PV modules.
