Amphenol Connex offers 75 ohm High Performance Broadcast Connectors to meet the needs for higher performance impedance-matched cable interconnections. These connectors can be used in a variety of applications where true 75Ω performance (meeting SMPTE return loss requirements) is needed to ensure low signal distortion. Designed for the most popular 75Ω cables used in broadcast and CATV applications as well as for plenum and other cables, these connectors feature crimp-crimp cable affixment for quick and reliable installation.

Amphenol Connex's High Performance Broadcast Connectors consist of high-quality, 75 ohm RF connectors, cable assemblies, and adapters. The Amphenol Connex 75 ohm BNC, Between Series Adapters, and 1.0/2.3 DIN product lines are ideal for high performance broadcast video applications requiring data transfer rates of 3 Gb/s or more.

BNC

The Amphenol Connex BNC product line features miniature, quick connect/disconnect RF connectors to accommodate a large variety of industry-standard cables, including standard 75 Ohm broadcast video cables offered by leading manufacturers. Featuring an innovative bayonet coupling system, the BNC Series ensures positive locking and enables quick, easy mating and un-mating of connectors. The female connector features two bayonet lugs, and secure locking is achieved with a quick quarter turn of the coupling nut. Designed to meet SMPTE return loss requirements, these 75 Ohm connectors are constructed using durable PTFE insulators and are capable of supporting data transfer rates of 3 Gb/s or higher in high performance broadcast video applications.

Designed for high performance video applications, Amphenol Connex Between Series Adapters feature low return loss for fast 3 Gb/s data transfer rates. These adapters are available in a variety of configurations, and are often used to change the gender of 75 ohm BNC and 1.0/2.3 DIN connectors.

Amphenol Connex offers a comprehensive line of 75 Ohm 1.0 /2.3 DIN Connectors specifically designed for high-performance 3Gb/s HD/SDI video applications. With a smaller footprint, 1.0 /2.3 DIN Connectors support up to four times as many signals in an area than standard BNC connectors. These connectors feature an innovative push-pull coupling mechanism that allows quick and easy mating. Constructed using precision-machined, nickel-plated brass body, while the inner/outer contacts feature gold-over-nickel plating, the 1.0 /2.3 DIN Connectors comply with DIN 41626, DIN 47297, INFC 93569, INFC 93571 and CECC 22230 requirements. The 75 Ohm 1.0 /2.3 DIN Connectors operate to 3+ GHz and meet the SMPTE return-loss requirements.
