Murata Ayla Design Kit features a Murata Type YD Wi-Fi Connectivity Module and provides developers a fast path to add smart phone and tablet-based control and monitoring to existing products. Leveraging ubiquitous Wi-Fi and the power of the cloud, this design kit allows users to securely connect to their devices from anywhere with an Internet connection. This Murata out-of-the-box design kit includes an STMicroelectronics STM32 host controller and the Murata Type YD Wi-Fi Module pre-loaded with Ayla Embedded Agent to connect to the Ayla Cloud Services and mobile applications.
Murata Wireless Solutions has expanded the SyNode™ SN8200 Wi-Fi series to include the SN8200 EVK+ Wi-Fi Module Evaluation Kit. The SN8200 EVK+ facilitates evaluation of and software development around the SN8200 Wi-Fi Network Controller Module. Major enhancements include support for the latest Murata EZ Web Wizzard™ software as well as all previous software releases, support of the Broadcom WICED SDK, jumper switches that easily connect the on-board module to the customer's target host MCU/CPU, and on-board serial flash for OTA software development.
Murata Wireless Solutions SyNode™ SN8200 Embedded Wi-Fi Network Controller Module is a self-contained, certified Wi-Fi network controller module that provides simple serial-to-Wi-Fi connectivity to the internet. The SN8200 integrates micro-controller, Wi-Fi BB/MAC/RF IC, RF front end, flash memory, clocks, and on-board antenna into a small form factor module that addresses the connectivity demand in M2M applications. The SyNode SN8200 Embedded Wi-Fi Network Controller Module from Murata Wireless Solutions can be controlled by a host device through a serial interface or it can serve as a stand-alone Wi-Fi station or network controller. The SN8200 provides standard IEEE802.11 b/g/n functions and its integrated MCU supports Broadcom WICED™ software. The SN8200 Wi-Fi module can be used with SN3020 Zigbee module to form a Zigbee/Wi-Fi gateway.

Murata Wireless SN2100 EM Development Kit is offered for customer application development on the Texas Instruments MSP430 and Stellaris® platform. It provides Bluetooth functionality to the TI MSP430 and Stellaris® development kit. The SN2100 EM Development Kit plugs directly into the TI MSP-EXP430F5438 and other development boards via adapter. The kit includes one SN2100 EM board and a Quick Start Guide. The SN2100 High-Power Bluetooth® Module from Murata Wireless is a complete industrial grade high power (class 1) Bluetooth® module with on-board antenna for M2M applications.
Murata Wireless SN2100 High-Power Bluetooth® Module is a complete industrial grade high power (class 1) Bluetooth® module with on-board antenna for M2M applications. The SN2100 integrates Bluetooth® IC, PA, RF front end, TCXO, and chip antenna into a small LGA form factor and can be dropped right into the OEM's design. It offers total 110dB link budget, which is significantly better than most of the Bluetooth® modules in the market. This makes the SN2100 a good fit for industrial control applications that usually require longer distance coverage. The module offers extended product life and industrial standard operating temperature range to fit the industrial usage. It also offers a standard HCI interface to the host CPU.
Murata Wireless Solutions SN820X Wi-Fi Network Controller Modules are a family of small, low power, self-contained, certified Wi-Fi® network controller modules that provide simple serial-to-Wi-Fi® connectivity to the internet. These modules are an ideal solution for device manufacturers who are looking to add wireless connectivity to home appliances, smart energy systems, healthcare and industrial control equipment. The SN820X modules are enabled with Broadcom Corporation's Wireless Internet Connectivity for Embedded Devices (WICED) architecture. They host the Wi-Fi®, TCP/IP network stack, security supplicant, and other network application features. The modules are provided with Murata Simple Network Interface Connection (SNIC) software and EZ Web Wizzard™ software. They are also compatible with Broadcom WICED SDK.
Murata Wireless WiFi 802.11 b/g/n Bluetooth v4 BLE Type TN Module is based on Texas Instruments WL1271L chipset providing IEEE802.11 b/g/n and Bluetooth v4.0 with Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) wireless connectivity. It is intended for broad market use by incorporating additional features on-module to simplify customer implementation. The type TN module is pre-integrated with several Texas Instruments OMAP™, SITARA™, DaVinci™, and Integra™ processors, facilitating faster customer design cycles. It also integrates RF-FE, Fast clock, and a DC-DC converter, as well as a convenient U.FL RF coaxial connector interface, enabling fast integration to an external antenna as an optional antenna connection. FCC certification is completed for the Type TN module to further enable rapid design cycles for the user. Also available is the Murata Wireless Com6M Card which includes the Murata type TN module and a chip antenna (LDA31 series), and interfaces to the Samtec MEC6-150-02, 100 position edge socket.
Murata Wireless SyChip SN3021 ZigBee Smart Energy Module is a standard-based wireless transceiver with low power consumption, a high transmit power of 20dBm, and high receiver sensitivity of -103dBm. It is based upon the IEEE 802.15.4 wireless network specification and is targeted toward the Smart Energy market. The Murata Wireless SyChip SN3021 ZigBee Smart Energy Module can be used to develop applications supporting the ZigBee PRO Smart Energy application profile. The SN3021 module operates in the 2.4GHz unlicensed ISM frequency band for worldwide deployment. The Murata Wireless SyChip SN3021 ZigBee Smart Energy Module Evaluation Kit is also available.
Murata Type VK Wi-Fi™ 802.11b/g W-LAN Module is based on the Texas Instruments CC3000 chipset supporting the IEEE802.11 b/g standard for WiFi connectivity. The unique benefit provided to the customer is an essentially host-less module in terms of the wireless LAN driver, supplicant, and firmware, which all reside on-module. The Murata Type VK Wi-Fi™ 802.11b/g W-LAN Module can quickly and easily interface to low MIP microcontrollers. It is pre-integrated with several Texas Instruments low power and low cost microcontrollers beginning with the MSP430 and Stellaris families. The Murata Type VK Wi-Fi™ 802.11b/g W-LAN Module is intended for broad market use by incorporating peripheral hardware functions on-module to simplify customer implementation.
Murata Wireless SyChip High-Power ZigBee® Module (SN3020) is the industry's smallest--just 400mm²--fully integrated ZigBee® module with +20dBm output power and 1MB of serial flash memory for a wide range of applications. It offers the best-in-class ZigBee® RF performance with 124dB link budget for long range, and includes a 32-bit ARM Cortex M3 processor for customer applications. The Murata Wireless SyChip High-Power ZigBee® Module Evaluation Kit includes two evaluation/development boards with SN3020 modules to interface to the host, two USB cables, an RF cable, and a CD with software and manuals. The SyChip ZigBee® modules are designed to be easily integrated into designs without the need for RF or embedded software expertise. Using a SyChip module allows designers to add the latest meshing radio technology without complex software engineering.
