Murata Power Solutions has acquired C&D Technologies’ Power Electronics Division
Murata completed the acquisition of C&D Technologies’ Power Electronics Division on September 3, 2007 and established Murata Power Solutions as a leading global supplier of power products, specifically DC/DC converters. Their products include DC/DC converters, power supplies, and magnetics, as well as the DATEL line of digital panel meters and data acquisition devices.

Murata Power Solutions MER1 Series 1W DC/DC Converter
The Murata Power Solutions MER1 Series of 1W DC/DC Converters is the new high performance version of the NMR series. The MER1 series is more efficient and offers improved regulation performance for applications that cannot tolerate a wide output voltage variation. Murata Power Solutions´ MER1 1W DC/DC Converters are ideally suited for providing local supplies on control system boards with the added benefit of 1kVDC galvanic isolation to reduce switching noise.
Murata Power Solutions 3W DC-DC Converters, MEV3 Series
The Murata Power Solutions MEV3 Series 3W Single Output DC-DC Converters are a new range of high performance converters capable of operation over the full industrial temperature range of -40ºC to 85ºC. Murata´s MEV3 Series DC-DC Converters are available in 5V and 12V inputs, an industry standard SIP package, and a pin compatible power upgrade path from the 1W NMV/MEV and 2W NMK series, they are ideally suited for providing local supplies on control system boards with the added benefit of 3kVDC galvanic isolation.

The Murata Power Solutions 1200 series of shielded inductors provide power line ferrite shield filtering solutions for applications with EMI susceptibility in low to medium current applications such as switching power supply circuits. Murata Power Solutions 1200 series are available in low current versions, 1200LRS, and higher current versions, 1200RS.
