Murata Power Solutions has acquired C&D Technologies’ Power Electronics Division
Murata completed the acquisition of C&D Technologies’ Power Electronics Division on September 3, 2007 and established Murata Power Solutions as a leading global supplier of power products, specifically DC/DC converters. Their products include DC/DC converters, power supplies, and magnetics, as well as the DATEL line of digital panel meters and data acquisition devices.

Murata Power Solutions DC/DC Converters: Series LSN2 and LSM2
Murata Power Solutions' series LSN2 and LSM2 point-of-load (POL), non-isolated, miniature DC/DC Converters feature a standard DOSA footprint in SIP or SMT packages. With user-selectable output voltage between 0.8Vdc to 5.0Vdc, as well as 30 Amps maximum current output current, the LSN2 and LSM2 converters achieve excellent efficiency over the output voltage range. Murata Power Solutions’ NMK series of industrial temperature range converters offers 3kVDC isolation with 5V output and a minimum efficiency of 80% at 2W. The un-regulated devices have a superior output voltage set point accuracy of 6% and excellent load regulation.
Murata Power Solutions Transformers: Series 5300, 5400, 5500
Murata Power Solutions’ 5300, 5400, and 5500 series of current sense transformers are designed to monitor AC currents. The transformers can be used for high-frequency current sensing in applications such as switched-mode power supplies, motor control, and electronic lighting ballasts.
