GRM/GCM Series
The
Murata GRM/GCM Series General Purpose Ceramic Capacitors
are low voltage, high dielectric constant type, in a smaller size with a
higher capacitance value. Available from C0G to Z5U temperature
coefficients, the
GRM Series General Purpose Ceramic Capacitors
are highly reliable, offer no polarity, and have a higher resistance of
solder-leaching due to the Ni-barriered termination (applicable for
reflow-soldering and flow-soldering). The
Murata GRM Series Medium Voltage General Purpose Ceramic Capacitors
are high capacitance
capacitors
capable of operating at high voltage levels (250V). The Murata GRM Series Medium Voltage General Purpose Ceramic Capacitors
are ideal for use on diode-snubber circuits for switching power
supplies , as primary-secondary coupling for DC-DC converters, and for
use on line filters and ringer detectors for telephones, facsimiles, and
modems.
Murata GCM Series General Purpose Ceramic Capacitors
offer higher resistance of solder-leaching due to Ni-barriered
termination, and are applicable for reflow-soldering and flow-soldering.
The
Murata GCM Series General Purpose Ceramic Capacitors
feature excellent pulse responsibility and noise reduction due to the low impedance at high frequency, and are part of
Murata's automotive rated
capacitors
series.
GQM/GJM
Murata
offers
High Frequency Capacitors
in two series.
Murata GJM Series High Q High Frequency Ceramic Capacitors
are ultra-small
capacitors
for
high frequency
applications in the 500MHz to 10GHz range. They are suitable for applications such as VCO and PA modules. The
GJM
series is made with copper electrodes as a cost effective solution for low ESR and power consumption due to the high Q (low loss) performance. The
Murata GJM Series High Q High Frequency Ceramic Capacitors are available
in a
variety of tight tolerance versions in EIA sizes 0201 and 0402 with a capacitance range of 0.1 to 33pF.The
Murata GQM Series High Frequency Ceramic Capacitors
are typically used in applications with
high frequencies
from 500MHz to 10GHz, such as base stations for cellular, broadcast satellites, cable TV and telecommunication networks, PGS, Bluetooth®,and TV set-top boxes. Featuring improved low power consumption for mobile telecommunications, the GQM Series has copper electrodes that allow for ultra low ESR, high Q in the GHz frequencies and high RF current handling capability. Offered in EIA sizes 0603, 0805 and the new 1111 size with a capacitance range of 0.1 to 100pF, there are a variety of tight tolerance versions available.

GCJ Series
The
Murata GCJ Series Soft Termination MLCCs
are medium voltage
capacitors
for
automotive
electronic equipment (power-train, safety equipment). The
GCJ Series
meet AEC-Q200 requirements. The
Murata GCJ Series Soft Termination MLCCs
improve the endurance against board bending stress through the conductive polymer termination. For flow or reflow soldering.

GR3/RDE Series
Murata
introduces GR3
and
RDE Series Multi-Layer Ceramic Capacitors
(
MLCCs) created specifically for
LED
lighting applications. The
GR3
and
RDE
Series MLCCs from
Murata
were designed to be incorporated into
LED
lighting circuits immediately following the bridge rectification stage to provide DC supply smoothing and EMI filtering. These
MLCC
s are the choice of designers over standard
ceramic capacitors
because they are designed to reduce flicker and acoustic noise. Use of the
GR3
series MLCCs over standard
MLCCs
has shown a 10dB reduction in acoustic noise.
RDE
series MLCCs also provide radial leaded insertion production. Both the
GR3
and
RDE
series
capacitors
offer better DC bias and acoustic noise reduction than the
X7R
series.

KCM/KRM Series
Murata
is proud to announce the introduction of the
KRM
and
KCM Series MLCC
s, metal terminal
capacitors
designed to offer increased reliability for thermal and mechanical stress. Both the
KRM
and
KCM series
from
Murata
offer space-saving benefits and high
capacitance
value by stacking two
MLCC
s and are
RoHS
compliant. The
KCM Series MLCC
is immune to
PCB
flexure in automotive applications by way of metal pins with an elastic action that reduces the impact to which the
capacitor
elements are subjected. The
KRM Series capacitor
for power supply circuits has ferric alloy terminals that lift the
capacitor
up to 1mm above the
PCB
, thus eliminating the transmission of bending forces between the
capacitor
and
PCB
.
