Mill-Max 0507 PCB Pin Receptacle

Mill-Max 0507 PCB Pin Receptacle features an early engagement contact point. The series accepts lead diameters from .018" - .023" (0,46mm). The low profile solder mount 0507 PCB Pin Receptacle from Mill-Max sits just .020" (0,51mm) above the board. A four finger contact is press-fit into each brass alloy receptacle shell, forming a gas tight connection.

Mill-Max Commercial-Off-The-Shelf (COTS) PCB Crimp Pins

Mill-Max Commercial-Off-The-Shelf (COTS) PCB Crimp Pins are the equivalents to the popular Mil-Spec M39029 crimp pins. There are five new terminals to choose from, all precision-machined to the highest quality and available in both gold and tin plating options and offer the same reliability and form factor as Mil-Spec M39029 crimp pins. Each of the pins has an inspection hole for viewing the wire during the crimping process and for promoting plating coverage inside the crimp hole. These crimp pins are ideal components for making up cable assemblies. Since they conform to the dimensions of the Mil-Spec parts, the same crimp tooling can be used to terminate the wires.

Mill-Max 829 Spring-Loaded Connectors - EXPANSION

Mill-Max's 829 Series Spring-Loaded Connectors offering has been expanded to include the 20-position in-line spring-loaded header. The 20-position spring-loaded header provides an increased stroke allowing for greater tolerance in the assembly of the design.

Mill-Max 829 Series Spring-Loaded Connectors are single-row, right-angle strips ideal for spring-loaded connections that lie parallel to the PC board. The low profile connectors offer the superior characteristics of other Mill-Max connectors, but has an increased mid-stroke distance of .045" - more than double most standard series product. The Mill-Max 829 Series Spring-Loaded Connectors are installed as a through-hole component and are suitable for hand, intrusive reflow, or wave soldering. The 829 Series features low resistance high current contacts that are rated at 2A continuous (3A peak per pin) and are available from 2 to 20 positions in a strip. This low profile, right angle connector is ideal for the small packaging requirements of hand-held devices, especially where vertical space is limited.

Mill-Max Ultra Low Profile Spring-Loaded Headers

Mill-Max Ultra Low Profile Spring-Loaded Headers are the lowest profile spring loaded connectors at just .100” in height. The trend toward miniaturization in electronic packaging demands ever smaller interconnects that deliver high quality performance, the Ultra Low Profile Spring-Loaded Headers are ideal with an above board profifle of .100”, a mid-stroke travel of .012” (0.3mm) and full stroke of .024” (0.61mm.). They are offered in single 2 to 32 positions and the double row in 4 to 72 positions. The high temperature plastic housing is suitable for all soldering processes and the connectors are RoHS compliant.

Mill-Max SuperSpeed USB 3.0 Receptacles

Mill-Max USB product line has added two Micro and two Standard SuperSpeed USB 3.0 Connectors. SuperSpeed USB 3.0 Receptacles offer a 10 X faster data transfer rate over Hi-Speed USB with a 5Gbps signaling rate. SuperSpeed USB, a Sync-N-Go technology, is designed to minimize user wait time and provide optimized power efficiency. Fully backwards compatible with USB 2.0, SuperSpeed USB 3.0 Receptacles are fully shielded and provide plug retention tabs and kinked locating legs for secure PCB retention. SuperSpeed USB 3.0 Receptacles feature 10 pins and 0.66mm pitch to reduce the board space required for mounting. Smaller and lighter than existing USB connectors, SuperSpeed USB 3.0 Receptacles are ideal for the latest portable and handheld devices. Standard Type A and Type B configurations are available for through-hole mounting.

Mill-Max 0900 and 0906 Series Spring-Loaded Connectors provide a reliable electrical connection in the most rigorous environments. Precision-machined gold-plated contacts with a low-resistance spring maintain a consistent electrical path for maximum continuity. Series 0900 and 0906 have been tested to a minimum of 50G shock and 10G vibration with no spikes >1µs and >1.15V with 0.5A applied. Maximum endurance is one million electrically silent cycles. The strip assemblies have .100" mounting grid, with low- and high-profile surface mount styles available with .137mm, .155mm, .177mm, .217mm, .236mm, 2.56mm, and 2.95 pin lengths. Mill-Max Harsh Environment BeNi Receptacles

Mill-Max Harsh Environment BeNi Receptacles featuring Beryllium Nickel Alloy 360 contacts are specially designed for receptacle applications operating in temperatures that exceed 150°C. BeNi Receptacles can withstand high temperatures of 250ºC continuously or 350ºC periodically. These harsh environment receptacles are well-suited for down-hole wells and exploration in the oil industry, stress testing electronic devices (i.e. chips), high temperature commercial lighting fixtures (i.e. Halogen lamps), and autoclave sterilization in the medical industry.

Mill-Max 0985 Receptacle

Mill-Max 0985 Receptacle is a 8.89 mm standard stroke, solder-mount receptacle with spring-loaded contacts. Mill-Max 0985 offers a current rating of 2A continuous, 15g initial spring force and 50g working/travel spring force. RoHS compliant, 0985 Series features 20 μ" Gold over Nickel shell plating, 10 μ" Gold over Nickel contact plating, 80-90 Rockwell B hardness as machined, 26% IACS Electrical conductivity, and a 900°C/885°C(liquidus/solidus) melting point.

Mill-Max 860 & 861 Series 1mm Pitch Header & Socket

Mill-Max expanded its product line of fine pitch connectors to include the 860 & 861 Series 1mm Pitch Header and Socket. Designed to be through-hole soldered to the PCB, these single-row connectors provide support and durability for applications requiring multiple insertions and extractions. The 860 series header pins (10u") and the 861 series receptacle internal contacts (30u") feature hard gold plating for excellent conductivity and effective wear resistance. Mill-Max's 860 series header and 861 series socket have solder tail diameters of .015" (.38 mm) and .014" (.36 mm) respectively. These tail diameters allow for smaller PCB holes to give greater clearance between holes for routing circuitry. To aid in solder flow during the soldering process, the insulator bodies have standoffs on the termination side of the connectors. The header and socket offer a mated height of .200" (5.08 mm), making these connectors ideal for board stacking applications and space saving interconnect solutions.

Mill-Max 085x Series Spring-Loaded Pin Connectors - EXPANSION

Mill-Max has expanded the 085x Spring-Loaded Pin Connector product family to include 4 additional connectors with taller heights - 0.395mm, 0.503mm, 0.599mm, and 0.649mm - with unique termination features. They are ideal for applications where greater spacing is required due to electrical and mechanical specifications.

Mill-Max 085x discrete Spring-Loaded Pin Connectors are low profile, standard stroke, spring pins with 20µ" Gold-over-Nickel plating and 10µ" Gold-over-Nickel contact plating. The 085x Series discrete Spring-loaded Pin Connectors from Mill-Max feature a mid-stroke distance of .045" - more than double most standard series product - with a maximum stroke length of .90", endurance of 1,000,000 cycles, and a rated current of 9 amps @ 10ºC temperature rise. Ideal for applications requiring board stacking such as docking stations, cable assemblies, quick connects, as well as blind mate programs.

Mill-Max 1508 Series SMT Pin

Mill-Max introduces the 1508 Series SMT Pin for use as a test point or for low profile board-to-board connections. Featuring a large base for stability and for a secure solder connection to the PCB, the 1508 pin is .018" (.46mm), making it suitable for plugging into a broad selection for standard Mill-Max receptacles or for attaching a test clip. Made from brass alloy and high-speed machined to precision tolerances, the Mill-Max 1508 Series SMT Pins are plated with gold to provide the highest interconnect reliability, corrosion protection, and wear resistance. Available in tape & reel or bulk.

Mill-Max Organic Fibre Plug®Receptacle

Mill-Max Organic Fibre Plug® (OFP®)Receptacle is a discrete socket for through-hole soldering into printed circuit boards. The open bottom Organic Fibre Plug® Receptacle from Mill-Max is fitted with organic fibre plugs to prevent solder, paste or flux from contaminating the internal contact during the placing and soldering process. This receptacle series now offers 14 sizes/styles, 13 of which have standard tape & reel packaging that permits through-hole components to be placed simultaneously with surface mount parts on pick-'n-place assembly lines, eliminating the need to hand place the receptacle in an additional manufacturing step. The knock-out-bottom feature of OFP® solder barrier receptacles enable them to be made relatively short compared to similar receptacles, creating important advantages when working with SMT boards.

New! Mill-Max Organic Fibre Plug® (OFP®) Receptacle product line has been expanded to include the #4 contact receptacle, this smaller receptacle fits .008-.013 diameter pins. Mill-Max Low Pin Count Spring-Loaded Headers

Mill-Max offers spring-loaded headers with lower pin counts to reduce the cut-down need for specific design requirements. Mill-Max Low Pin Count Spring-Loaded Headers include modular contacts for use on .100" grid, supplied in single or double row contact strips with a precision-machine piston / base. Gold-plated components assure a 1,000,000 min. life cycle. Featuring high current contacts and a low resistance, these spring-loaded headers are rated at 2A continuous (3A peak). The contact strips are designed for manual placement onto solder pads and high temperature thermoplastic insulators are suitable for surface mount processes. The low pin count spring-loaded headers are available in straight, surface mount, solder cup tail , right angle, vertical mount versions.
