Mill-Max's 829 Series Spring-Loaded Connectors offering has been expanded to include the 20-position in-line spring-loaded header. The 20-position spring-loaded header provides an increased stroke allowing for greater tolerance in the assembly of the design.
Mill-Max 829 Series Spring-Loaded Connectors are single-row, right-angle
strips ideal for spring-loaded connections that lie parallel to the PC
board. The low profile connectors offer the superior characteristics of
other Mill-Max connectors, but has an increased mid-stroke distance of
.045" - more than double most standard series product. The Mill-Max 829
Series Spring-Loaded Connectors are installed as a through-hole
component and are suitable for hand, intrusive reflow, or wave
soldering. The 829 Series features low resistance high current contacts
that are rated at 2A
continuous (3A peak per pin) and are available from 2 to 20 positions in
a strip. This low profile, right angle connector is ideal for the small
packaging requirements of hand-held devices, especially where vertical
space is limited.

Mill-Max 0900 and 0906 Series Spring-Loaded Connectors have been expanded to include spring pins with a .155mm pin length.

Mill-Max Harsh Environment BeNi Receptacles featuring Beryllium
Nickel Alloy 360 contacts are specially designed for receptacle
applications operating in temperatures that exceed 150°C. BeNi
Receptacles can withstand high temperatures of 250ºC continuously or
350ºC periodically. These harsh environment receptacles are well-suited
for down-hole wells and exploration in the oil industry, stress testing
electronic devices (i.e. chips), high temperature commercial lighting
fixtures (i.e. Halogen lamps), and autoclave sterilization in the
medical industry.
Mill-Max 0985 Receptacle
Mill-Max 0985 Receptacle is a 8.89 mm standard stroke, solder-mount receptacle with spring-loaded contacts. Mill-Max 0985 offers a current rating of 2A continuous, 15g initial spring force and 50g working/travel spring force. RoHS compliant, 0985 Series features 20 μ" Gold over Nickel shell plating, 10 μ" Gold over Nickel contact plating, 80-90 Rockwell B hardness as machined, 26% IACS Electrical conductivity, and a 900°C/885°C(liquidus/solidus) melting point.
Mill-Max 860 & 861 Series 1mm Pitch Header & Socket
Mill-Max expanded its product line of fine pitch connectors to include
the 860 & 861 Series 1mm Pitch Header and Socket. Designed to be
through-hole soldered to the PCB, these single-row connectors provide
support and durability for applications requiring multiple insertions
and extractions. The 860 series header pins (10u") and the 861 series
receptacle internal contacts (30u") feature hard gold plating for
excellent conductivity and effective wear resistance. Mill-Max's 860
series header and 861 series socket have solder tail diameters of .015"
(.38 mm) and .014" (.36 mm) respectively. These tail diameters allow for
smaller PCB holes to give greater clearance between holes for routing
circuitry. To aid in solder flow during the soldering process, the
insulator bodies have standoffs on the termination side of the
connectors. The header and socket offer a mated height of .200" (5.08
mm), making these connectors ideal for board stacking applications and
space saving interconnect solutions.

Mill-Max has expanded the 085x Spring-Loaded Pin Connector
product family to include 4 additional connectors with taller heights -
0.395mm, 0.503mm, 0.599mm, and 0.649mm - with unique termination
features. They are ideal for applications where greater spacing is
required due to electrical and mechanical specifications.

Mill-Max Organic Fibre Plug® (OFP®)Receptacle is a discrete socket for through-hole soldering into printed circuit boards. The open bottom Organic Fibre Plug® Receptacle from Mill-Max is fitted with organic fibre plugs to prevent solder, paste or flux from contaminating the internal contact during the placing and soldering process. This receptacle series now offers 14 sizes/styles, 13 of which have standard tape & reel packaging that permits through-hole components to be placed simultaneously with surface mount parts on pick-'n-place assembly lines, eliminating the need to hand place the receptacle in an additional manufacturing step. Mill-Max expanded its line of.070" (1,78 mm) pitch connectors to include the 870 & 871 Series Headers and Sockets.
The single row, right angle sockets and headers can be combined with
vertical .070" (1,78 mm) pitch connectors in a variety of
configurations. Featuring a 070" (1,78 mm) pitch spacing, the 870 & 871 Series provide
the same current carrying capacity and mechanical strength as the .100"
pitch headers and sockets currently offered by Mill-Max
with a higher density packaging capability. These right angle .070"
(1,78 mm) pitch connectors can be combined with other vertical sockets
and headers to mate boards perpendicular to each other and also board
edge daisy chain applications. The 870 Series 10µ" pins and the 871
Series 10µ" internal contacts (30u") provide optimum conductivity and
effective wear resistance. Both connectors have high temperature

Mill-Max developed the 824 & 826 Series Single and Double Row Solder Cup Spring-Loaded Pin Headers as a convenient and reliable solution for making connections between wires and mating components such as P.C. boards, batteries, or other cable assemblies. Constructed using gold-plated brass components and beryllium copper springs to ensure the highest conductivity, corrosion resistance, and durability, each spring-loaded pin is rated at 3 amps maximum (2 amps continuous use) for one million cycles and provides .0275" (.6985mm) of midstroke compression (.055" (1,397mm) maximum compression). The uniform alignment of the solder cups provide easy access for soldering up to size 22 AWG cable or discrete wires to the spring pins; thereby eliminating the need to manipulate the wires or the connector.
