Mill-Max 085x Series Spring-Loaded Pin Connectors - EXPANSION
Mill-Max has expanded the 085x Spring-Loaded Pin Connector product family to include 3 additional connectors with taller heights - 0.599mm, 0.649mm, and 0.503mm. All three new additions are rugged spring pins, rated at 9 amps and designed with unique termination features. They are ideal for applications where greater spacing is required due to electrical and mechanical specifications.
Mill-Max 085x discrete Spring-Loaded Pin Connectors are low profile, standard stroke, spring pins with 20µ" Gold-over-Nickel plating
and 10µ" Gold-over-Nickel contact plating. The 085x Series discrete Spring-loaded Pin Connectors from Mill-Max
feature a mid-stroke distance of .045" - more than double most standard
series product - with a maximum stroke length of .90", endurance of
1,000,000 cycles, and a rated current of 9 amps @ 10ºC temperature rise.
Ideal for applications requiring board stacking such as docking
stations, cable assemblies, quick connects, as well as blind mate
programs.

Mill-Max Right Angle Series 870 & 871 Headers and Sockets
Mill-Max expanded its line of.070" (1,78 mm) pitch connectors to include the 870 & 871 Series Headers and Sockets.
The single row, right angle sockets and headers can be combined with
vertical .070" (1,78 mm) pitch connectors in a variety of
configurations. Featuring a 070" (1,78 mm) pitch spacing, the 870 & 871 Series provide
the same current carrying capacity and mechanical strength as the .100"
pitch headers and sockets currently offered by Mill-Max
with a higher density packaging capability. These right angle .070"
(1,78 mm) pitch connectors can be combined with other vertical sockets
and headers to mate boards perpendicular to each other and also board
edge daisy chain applications. The 870 Series 10µ" pins and the 871
Series 10µ" internal contacts (30u") provide optimum conductivity and
effective wear resistance. Both connectors have high temperature
insulators suitable for RoHS soldering processes.
Mill-Max 824 & 826 Single and Double Row Solder Cup Spring-Loaded Pin Headers
Mill-Max developed the 824 & 826 Series Single and Double Row Solder Cup Spring-Loaded Pin Headers as a convenient and reliable solution for making connections between wires and mating components such as P.C. boards, batteries, or other cable assemblies. Constructed using gold-plated brass components and beryllium copper springs to ensure the highest conductivity, corrosion resistance, and durability, each spring-loaded pin is rated at 3 amps maximum (2 amps continuous use) for one million cycles and provides .0275" (.6985mm) of midstroke compression (.055" (1,397mm) maximum compression). The uniform alignment of the solder cups provide easy access for soldering up to size 22 AWG cable or discrete wires to the spring pins; thereby eliminating the need to manipulate the wires or the connector. The Mill-Max 824 & 826 Series Single and Double Row Solder Cup Spring-Loaded Pin Headers can be cut down to meet specific design requirements, and are ideal wire-to-board, cable-to-board, and cable-to-cable applications where stack up tolerances demand the versatility and forgiveness of a spring-loaded connection.
Mill-Max 7937 Series Target Pin for Spring Loaded Connectors
Mill-Max 7937 Series Target Pins are low profile, horizontal,
surface mount pins designed for spring-loaded connections that lie
parallel to the PC board (a daisy-chain effect can be made with the 0967
spring pin). The Mill-Max 7937 Series Target Pins can be mated with spring loaded connectors
requiring conductive lands. Constructed with 10 μ" Gold over 100 μ"
Nickel shell plating, a rated voltage of 2A continuous, 3A peak, and a
low profile of 2.54 mm high by 3.94 mm long, the Mill-Max 7937 Series Target Pins ensure a highly-reliable spring-loaded for applications with tight packaging requirements.
Mill-Max Triple Row Series 804 Headers and 805 Sockets
Mill-Max constructed the Triple Row Series 804 Headers and 805 Sockets as straight angle, through-hole connectors that design engineers can cut down to meet the specific pin count requirements of their designs. These low profile, triple row strips offer the superior characteristics of earlier series Mill-Max connectors with a .100" grid and 96 contacts. The Mill-Max 804 Series Headers have a .30 pin head with solder tail termination and 10 μ" Gold over 100 μ" Nickel shell plating. The Mill-Max 805 Series Sockets provide highly reliable, standard 6 finger contacts with a current rating of 4.5 amps, 200 μ" Tin (matte finish) over 100 μ" Nickel shell plating, and 200 μ" Tin (matte finish) over 100 μ" Nickel inner contact plating. The Mill-Max Triple Row Series 804 Headers and 805 Sockets
feature a rated voltage of 100 VRMS/150 VDC, insulation resistance of
10,000 Megaohms min., and a dielectric strength of 1000 VRMS min. Suitable for all soldering operations.

Mill-Max 829 Series Spring Loaded Connectors
The Mill-Max 829 Series Spring Loaded Connectors are single-row, right-angle strips ideal for spring-loaded connections that lie parallel to the PC board. The low profile connectors offer the superior characteristics of other Mill-Max connectors, but has an increased mid-stroke distance of .045" - more than double most standard series product. The Mill-Max 829 Series Spring Loaded Connectors are installed as a through-hole component and are suitable for hand, intrusive reflow, or wave soldering. The 829 Series features low resistance high current contacts that are rated at 2A continuous (3A peak per pin) and are available from 2 to 10 positions in a strip. This low profile, right angle connector is ideal for the small packaging requirements of hand-held devices, especially where vertical space is limited.

The Mill-Max 0951 Spring-loaded Pin Connector is a high profile, standard stroke, surface mount pin with 20µ" Gold-over-Nickel plating and 10µ" Gold-over-Nickel contact plating. The RoHS compliant Mill-Max 0951 Spring-loaded Pin's shell material is a Brass alloy shell material (UNS C36000) per ASTM B 16.
Mill-Max Crimp and Solder Cup Spring Pin Connectors
Mill-Max introduces two new innovative discrete spring-loaded connectors, the 0962 spring pin with crimp barrel tail termination and the 0933 spring pin with the proven solder-cup design. Both Spring Pin Connectors
accommodate stranded or solid copper wires up to 22 gauge and offers
the advantages of both a compression spring connection on one end and a
wire termination on the other. The robust Mill-Max Spring Pin Connectors
are rated at one million cycles, minimum. Also introducing the Mill-Max 3000 Target Pin that acts as both a mate to the plunger of the 0962/0933 while offering a wire termination as its crimp-barrel feature on the back end of the pin. Mating the 0962/0933 Spring Pin Connectors with the 3000 Target Pin turns a pair of discrete wires into a highly-reliable spring-loaded interconnection.
Mill-Max 810 Series Horizontal SMT Spring-Loaded Connectors
The Mill-Max 810 Series Horizontal SMT Spring-Loaded Connectors are modular contacts for use on .100" grid, supplied in single row contact strips with a precision-machine piston / base. Pistons have a .045" mid. stroke and .090" max. stroke, and the piston action is parallel to the board surface. Gold plated components assure a 1,000,000 min. life cycle. The Mill-Max 810 Series Spring-Loaded Connectors high current contacts have a low resistance and are rated at 2A continuous (3A peak). The 810 Series
contact strips are designed for manual placement onto solder pads and
high temperature thermoplastic insulators are suitable for surface
mount processes.
Mill-Max SMT Spring-Loaded Contacts
The Mill-Max has expanded its offering of SMT Spring Loaded Contacts (SLC). The new discrete contacts offer a range of application heights from .137" to .430" and many are available in tape and reel packaging. The Mill-Max SMT Spring Loaded Contacts provide maximum continuity through precision-machined gold-plated components and a low-resistance spring that maintain a consistent electrical path. With maximum stability, the Spring Loaded Contacts are tested to a minimum of 50G shock and 10G vibration with no spikes >1µs and>1.15V with 0.5A applied and a maximum endurance of 1,000,000 cycles. Mill-Max SMT Spring Loaded Contacts provide a reliable electrical connection in the most rigorous environments.
