Maxim DS1884 is an SFP and PON ONU Controller with digital LDD interface. The device controls and monitors all functions for SFF, SFP, and SFP+ modules, including SFF-8472 functionality. Features of the DS1884 Controller from Maxim include modulation current control, APC set-point control with tracking error adjustment, and continuous monitoring of RSSI for LOS generation.
