The Maxim MAX14569 ESD-protected, dual-pair, unidirectional logic-level translator (LLT) is ideal for industrial and metering applications and provides level shifting for data transfer (up to 12 Mbps) in multivoltage systems. This Maxim LLT accepts a voltage range from 1.6V to 5.5V on the VL side and 2.3V to 5.5V on the ±25kV ESD-protected VCC side. Two separate enable controls for each pair of LLT puts the Maxim MAX14569 in an extreme power-saving shutdown mode, reducing current consumption to a minuscule 0.01µA (typ). The MAX14569 also features a high-efficiency charge pump, which boosts the VBAT battery input to the VCC level (5V). The integrated charge pump simplifies circuit design, resulting in fewer BOM components and lower manufacturing costs.
