The Littelfuse Lo Rho Surface Mount Polyfuse PPTC (Polymer Positive Temperature Coefficient) Resettable PTC Fuses provide ultra-low normal operating resistance at normal operating hold current. Featuring a compact design, the Littelfuse Lo Rho Polyfuse PPTC Resettable PTC Fuses offer a maximum fault current rating of 40A, and are compatible with high temperature solders.

Hold current: maximum current device will pass without tripping in 20°C still air.
Itrip =
Trip current: minimum current at which the device will trip in 20°C still air.
Vmax =
Maximum voltage device can withstand without damage at rated current (Imax)
Imax =
Maximum fault current device can withstand without damage at rated voltage (Vmax)
Pd =Power dissipated from device when in the tripped state at 20°C still air.
Rmin =
Minimum resistance of device in initial (un-soldered) state.
R1max =
Maximum resistance of device at 20°C measured one hour after tripping or reflow soldering of 260°C for 20 sec.

Operation beyond the specified rating may result in damage and possible arcing and flame.

*1812L350 Typical Time-to-Trip is 50A at 0.013-0.020 seconds and meets the 8A at 5 seconds maximum Time-to-Trip requirement.
