Littelfuse SIDACtor Baseband Protection Thyristors includes the low profile SMA Series. The SMA Series features excellent surge rating, low voltage overshoot, and low capacitance with a smaller SMA package. The SMA Series from Littelfuse does not degrade surge capability after multiple events and is ideal for cordless and digital phones that require CPE Tip to Ring Protection, Telecom line protection.

Pxxx4UCMC - Modified MS-013 Multiport MicroCapacitance (MC) SIDACtor® Device
The MC Multiport MS-013 Series features low capacitance SIDACtor® devices designed to protect broadband equipment from damaging overvoltage transients. The series is intended for applications sensitive to load values. Typically, high speed connections require lower capacitance. CO values for the MC devices are 40% lower than standard UC devices.

Littelfuse SDP Biased Series SIDACtor® Protection Thyristor offers overvoltage protection for applications such as VDSL2, ADSL2, and ADSL2+ with minimal effect on data signals. Featuring an innovative silicon design, the SDP Biased Series provides balanced overvoltage protection, low distortion, low insertion loss, response time under 500ns, and a capacitive loading characteristic compatible with high bandwidth applications. The surface SOT23-6 package has a surge capability that exceeds most worldwide standards and recommendations for lightning surge withstand capability of tertiary protectors including ANSI C62.41, IEC 61000-4-12, IEC 61000-4-5, 30 A, and IEC 61000-4-2 level 4.
Littelfuse High Surge Current Protection Thyristors are a family of very robust solid state protection devices intended for use in high exposure environments. The offering includes products specifically designed for primary protection such as cell and TO-220 devices. The High Surge Current family features thyristors capable of meeting 5kA 8/20µs for use in extreme conditions. For enhanced secondary protection requirements, a D-rated device capable of 1000A 2/10µs is available in a DO-214 package. The Battrax® series offers programmable SIDACtor® overvoltage protection devices for SLIC applications. This series is offered in a negative Battrax version and a positive Battrax version. The B1xx0C_ is for a -VREF supply and the B2050C_ is for a +VREF supply. Designed using an SCR and a gate diode, the B1xx0C_ Battrax begins to conduct at |-VREF| + |-1.2V| while the B2050C_ Battrax begins to conduct at |+VREF| + |1.2V|.

The small footprint QFN (Quad Flatpak No-Lead) is ideal for dense board applications that have multiple lines per card. The high density SLIC cards will benefit from this CSP technology by being able to fit more protection in a smaller PCB area.
