Linx Technologies HumRC Transceiver is a spread spectrum RF remote control transceiver module. It is designed for reliable bi-directional remote control and sensor applications. It includes a Frequency Hopping Spread spectrum (FHSS) protocol and supports versions at 2.4GHz and 900MHz with a common footprint and pin out. The remote control transceiver has 8 status lines that can be individually configured as inputs to register button presses or as outputs to drive application circuitry. A selectable acknowledgment indicates that the transmission was successfully received. Primary settings are hardware-selectable, which eliminates the need for an external microcontroller or other digital interface. Two of the status lines can be configured as analog inputs that can convert an analog voltage to a digital number. The transmitting side can command a remote device to automatically include these values in an acknowledgment. If these lines are connected to sensors then the module can act as a remote sensor node without the need for an external microcontroller. No programming is required for basic remote control operation, but it has a serial UART interface for more advanced operation. This interface allows configuration of everything that can be done in hardware plus advanced features such as automatic receiver power cycling, automatic triggered transmissions, individual configuration of all status lines and programming in specific paired unit addresses and control permissions. Everything is controlled by a few serial commands. This interface allows more functionality with fewer hardware connections. The HumRC™ 900MHz version outputs up to 10dBm, resulting in a line-of-sight range of up to 1,600m (1.0 mile), depending on the antenna implementation. The 2.4GHz version outputs up to 1dBm, resulting in a line-of-sight range of 100m (300 feet).
Linx Technologies KH3 RF Transmitters are designed for remote control/command and keyless entry applications. It combines an optimized RF transmitter with an on-board encoder. A reliable wireless link is created when it is paired with a matching KH3 series receiver/decoder module. The link is capable of transmitting the status of 8 parallel inputs over 3000 feet. Ten address links provide transmitter uniqueness. No external RF components are required, except for an antenna.
Linx Technologies SMA & RP-SMA RF Connectors are now available in gold plated versions along with their popular nickel version. Linx Technologies TT 900MHz Remote Control Transceiver is designed for reliable bi-directional, long-range remote control applications. The F4 Series GPS module is ideal for GPS applications where Low-Power is required. With an operating voltage of 1.8V and low power modes such as Trickle-Power and Push-to-Fix, the F4 module will hibernate with current draw as low as 20uA. Using the supplied software commands, the F4 Series GPS module also offers GPIO capability, which allows the application software to monitor and control events without the need of a microcontroller.
Linx Technologies DS Series Remote Control Encoder/Decoder is designed for Infrared or RF remote control applications. When set as an encoder, the DS encodes 8 data bits and 10 address bits for transmission. When set as a decoder, the DS compares the address bits in the received packet with its local address. If the bits match, then the received data bits are output on the data lines. The DS is a replacement for many applications using the Holtek® HT640 and HT658. There are some functional differences that should be reviewed to ensure backwards compatibility.
