Led Engin LZC Series LED Emitters

Led Engin LZC Series Emitters offer a 12 die emitter providing a max of 3000 lumens at 1A at 5500K. The LZC Series has 40W of power dissipation capability in a small 9x9mm footprint for exceptional luminous flux density. It features an integrated glass lens, spatial color uniformity across the radiation pattern, and an excellent color rendering index. The LZC Series is designed for outdoor applications with high ambient temperatures and high humidity.

LED Engin LZ4 LEDs

LED Engin LZ4 LEDs provide high efficiencies in small packages for industry leading flux densities (lm/mm2). The LZ4 series features a range of color offerings including red, deep red, far red, green, blue, amber, dental blue and white in the visible range and ultra violet (400nm) and infrared (850nm) in the non-visible range. The multi-chip packages are also available with multicolor / wavelength options such as RGB, RGBA or Dental Blue & UV. Every die is individually addressable for a maximum of design flexibility.

LED Engin Studio White LEDs feature CCT and color rendering matched to HID arc lamps used in studio lighting. They deliver a daylight color temperature of 5300K, CRI greater than 85, and R9 red content of 50, resulting in a natural color rendering of skin tones and other colors, which cannot be obtained by standard daylight white LED emitters. These emitters, based on LED Engin's LuxiGen technology platform, may be driven up to 10W, 20W, or 42W of power in a compact footprint. LED Engin Gallery White LEDs feature warm white light with an exceptional color rendering index (CRI) of 97, as well as impressive individual R values (R1-16), in the industry's smallest footprint. These LEDs enable accurate color representation and enhance the contrast of retail merchandise, artwork, and skin tones, which cannot be obtained with standard warm white LEDs. The emitters, based on LED Engin's LuxiGen technology platform, may be driven up to 10W, 20W, or 42W of power in a compact footprint. LED Engin ViviLux™ LEDs with Lens

LED Engin ViviLux™ LEDs with Lens deliver bold, vivid, and energy-efficient Lux-on-Target™ directional lighting for retail and commercial lighting. These high-efficiency, CRI 90 emitter-plus-lens combinations offer superior performance, leveraging LED Engin's high density LuxiGen™ LED emitters and optics with high quality light, beam control, and the energy-efficiency demanded in today's green environment. The powerful, yet compact ViviLux emitter and lens combinations have the highest luminous efficacy, or lux/Watt, for a single, CRI 90 LED while maximizing Lux-on-Target for downlighting and accent lighting where high quality illumination is demanded. Under steady-state, real world conditions of Tj=100ºC, ViviLux produces 1700 lumens at 700mA after the secondary lens, equating to a luminous efficacy of 100 lumens/Watt at 350mA. Also, emitter-to-emitter variations of less than 2.5 MacAdam Ellipses guarantee lighting consistency. ViviLux is available in three beam options--24º, 35º, and 45º--providing flexibility and freedom in lighting design.

LED Engin LZ9 LuxiGen™ Series LEDs & High Efficiency Lenses

LED Engin LZ9 LuxiGen™ Series LEDs & High Efficiency Lenses deliver 2.5 times the lumens of existing LZ4 products within the same 7mm x 7mm footprint. These LEDs boost output by 250% to 1350 lumens and more than double the Lux on Target™, making them ideal for directional lighting fixtures such as the spot, accent, and downlighting used in retail and commercial applications. The LZ9 Series is the first LuxiGen series to be introduced with a CRI 90 option for applications that demand the highest levels of color rendering. The LZ9 LED incorporates 9 die in a compact, 3 x 3 series-parallel configuration package and uses a patented multi-layer ceramic substrate engineered to minimize stress on the die. The substrate has low thermal resistance to lower the junction temperature of the die for consistent performance over the service life of the product. These LEDs fit a 1000 lumen range for complete systems which are commonly used to replace 50W and 75W halogen sources.

Also available is a family of secondary total internal reflection (TIR) lenses in spot, narrow flood, and flood beams compatible with the new LZ9 Series. This lens family couples with the compact, high-flux density LZ9 LuxiGen emitter family, opening up new applications in stage and studio, architectural and down lighting. The TIR lens collimates the LED light into efficient, well-controlled light beams that maximize the usable lumens in the target area. Not only does this lighting solution provide the throw or distance required for these lighting applications, it does so with a smooth, high quality beam of superior intensity uniformity, color over angle mixing, and with an absence of discomfort glare or shadows. The LuxiGen single emitter/ single lens combination, available in color temperatures ranging from 2700K Warm White to 6500K Cool White, provides the equivalent performance of a 75W PAR20 or PAR30 halogen source.

LED Engin LZx-00UA00 UV LED Emitters

LED Engin LZx-00UA00 UV LED Emitters provide superior radiometric power in the wavelength range specifically required for sterilization, dental curing lights, and numerous medical applications. With an ultra-small footprint, these LEDs provide exceptional optical power or radiant flux density. The radiometric power performance and optimal peak wavelength of these LZx-00UA00 UV LEDs are matched to the response curves of dental resins, inks, and adhesives, resulting in a significantly reduced curing time. The patented design has unparalleled thermal and optical performance. The high quality materials used in the package are chosen to optimize light output, have excellent UV resistance, and minimize stresses which results in monumental reliability and radiant flux maintenance.

The standard MCPCB option provides a convenient method to mount LED Engin's LZx emitters. The six recessed features allow the use of M3 or #4 screws to attach the MCPCB to a heat sink. The MCPCB has three sets of "+" (Anode) and "-" (Cathode) solder pads for electrical connections. The MCPCB also contains a Zener diode for enhanced ESD protection.

LED Engin 90W Ultraviolet LED with Starboard MCPCB is rated for 90W power handling in an ultra compact package. The LedEngin 90W Ultraviolet LED alone has a small 12 x 12 x 6.7mm footprint, providing exceptional radiant flux density. The patented design has unparalleled thermal and optical performance. The high quality materials used in the package are chosen to optimize radiant flux and minimize stresses which results in monumental reliability and radiant flux maintenance. The robust product design thrives in outdoor applications with high ambient temperatures and high humidity. With the LED Engin Starboard MCPCB, the emitter heat slug mounts directly onto the MCPCB copper core, resulting in an extremely low 0.1C/W thermal resistance. The MCPCB has five channels: four independent channels each with strings of six white LED dies in series, and one channel for optional center pad function (not used with LZP-0xxx00 emitter).

LED Engin High Efficiency 10 Watt LED Lenses provide efficient and highly uniform smooth light gradient which eliminates hot spots and rings for illumination applications. LED Engin High Efficiency 10 Watt LED Lenses are available in three viewing angles--12º Narrow Spot beam, 23º Narrow Flood beam, and 37º Flood beam. LED Engin LZP Series 90W LED emitters generate up to 5500 lumen (CCT of 5500K) and 3000lm (CCT of 3100K) in an unprecedented compact 12mm x 12mm package. LED Engin LZP Series high performance LED emitters replace 35W metal halide (MH) bulbs or 50W high pressure sodium (HID) bulbs achieving the high flux required in applications such as high bay lighting, architectural lighting, street/area lighting, and stage and studio moving heads. LED Engin LZP Series LED emitters provide spatial color uniformity across the radiation pattern and a consistent CCT, CRI over time and temperature.
