LedEngin LZ9 LuxiGen™ Series LEDs & High Efficiency Lenses
LedEngin LZ9 LuxiGen™ Series LEDs & High Efficiency Lenses deliver 2.5 times the lumens of existing LZ4 products within the same 7mm x 7mm footprint. These LEDs boost output by 250% to 1350 lumens and more than double the Lux on Target™, making them ideal for directional lighting fixtures such as the spot, accent, and downlighting used in retail and commercial applications. The LZ9 Series is the first LuxiGen series to be introduced with a CRI 90 option for applications that demand the highest levels of color rendering. The LZ9 LED incorporates 9 die in a compact, 3 x 3 series-parallel configuration package and uses a patented multi-layer ceramic substrate engineered to minimize stress on the die. The substrate has low thermal resistance to lower the junction temperature of the die for consistent performance over the service life of the product. These LEDs fit a 1000 lumen range for complete systems which are commonly used to replace 50W and 75W halogen sources.
Also available is a family of secondary total internal reflection (TIR) lenses in spot, narrow flood, and flood beams compatible with the new LZ9 Series. This lens family couples with the compact, high-flux density LZ9 LuxiGen emitter family, opening up new applications in stage and studio, architectural and down lighting. The TIR lens collimates the LED light into efficient, well-controlled light beams that maximize the usable lumens in the target area. Not only does this lighting solution provide the throw or distance required for these lighting applications, it does so with a smooth, high quality beam of superior intensity uniformity, color over angle mixing, and with an absence of discomfort glare or shadows. The LuxiGen single emitter/ single lens combination, available in color temperatures ranging from 2700K Warm White to 6500K Cool White, provides the equivalent performance of a 75W PAR20 or PAR30 halogen source.
LedEngin LZx-00UA00 UV LED Emitters
LedEngin LZx-00UA00 UV LED Emitters provide superior radiometric power in the wavelength range specifically required for sterilization, dental curing lights, and numerous medical applications. With an ultra-small footprint, these LEDs provide exceptional optical power or radiant flux density. The radiometric power performance and optimal peak wavelength of these LZx-00UA00 UV LEDs are matched to the response curves of dental resins, inks, and adhesives, resulting in a significantly reduced curing time. The patented design has unparalleled thermal and optical performance. The high quality materials used in the package are chosen to optimize light output, have excellent UV resistance, and minimize stresses which results in monumental reliability and radiant flux maintenance.
The standard MCPCB option provides a convenient method to mount LedEngin's LZx emitters. The six recessed features allow the use of M3 or #4 screws to attach the MCPCB to a heat sink. The MCPCB has three sets of "+" (Anode) and "-" (Cathode) solder pads for electrical connections. The MCPCB also contains a Zener diode for enhanced ESD protection.
LedEngin LZ1 Series LEDs
LedEngin LZ1 Series LEDs provide high power in an extremely small package. With a 4.4mm x 4.4mm ultra-small footprint, these LEDs provide exceptional radiant flux density. The high quality materials used in the package are chosen to optimize light output and minimize stresses which results in monumental reliability and lumen maintenance. The robust product design thrives in outdoor applications with high ambient temperatures and high humidity. LedEngin's patent-pending thermally insulated phosphor layers provide a spatially uniform color across the radiation pattern and a consistent CCT over time and temperature. The LZ1 UV LEDs provide exceptional optical power density and superior radiometric power in the wavelength range specifically required for ultraviolet (UV) applications. The high quality materials used in the UV LEDs also have excellent UV resistance.
Each of the LedEngin LZ1 Series LEDs is also available on a starboard MCPCB which provides a convenient mounting method. LedEngin LLNS-3T08-H Narrow Spot Beam High Efficiency Lens for LZC Emitters couples with the compact, high flux density LZC (12 die) LuxiGen emitter, opening up new applications in stage and studio, architectural, and down lighting. The LedEngin LLNS-3T08-H Narrow Spot Beam High Efficiency Lens aligns LED light in efficient, well-controlled light beams that maximize the usable lumens in the target area. Not only does this lighting solution provide the throw or distance required for these lighting applications, it does so with a smooth, high quality beam of superior intensity uniformity, color over angle mixing, and with an absence of uncomfortable glare or shadows. In addition, the 8° narrow spot lenses coupled with the LZC 12-die, multi-color RGB, RGBA, and RGBW emitters provide excellent in-source color mixing for dynamic color entertainment and architectural lighting applications.
LedEngin 90W Ultraviolet LED with Starboard MCPCB & High Efficiency Lens with Holder
LedEngin 90W Ultraviolet LED with Starboard MCPCB is rated for 90W power handling in an ultra compact package. The LedEngin 90W Ultraviolet LED alone has a small 12 x 12 x 6.7mm footprint, providing exceptional radiant flux density. The patented design has unparalleled thermal and optical performance. The high quality materials used in the package are chosen to optimize radiant flux and minimize stresses which results in monumental reliability and radiant flux maintenance. The robust product design thrives in outdoor applications with high ambient temperatures and high humidity. With the LedEngin Starboard MCPCB, the emitter heat slug mounts directly onto the MCPCB copper core, resulting in an extremely low 0.1C/W thermal resistance. The MCPCB has five channels: four independent channels each with strings of six white LED dies in series, and one channel for optional center pad function (not used with LZP-0xxx00 emitter).
LedEngin High Efficiency Lens with Holder is a 15° beam lens which can be combined with LedEngin LZP-series 90W single color emitters to provide an efficient and highly uniform smooth light gradient for illumination applications. The unique design of the LedEngin High Efficiency Lens with Holder provides maximum luminous output and excellent beam uniformity.
LedEngin High Efficiency 10 Watt LED Lenses
LedEngin High Efficiency 10 Watt LED Lenses provide efficient and highly uniform smooth light gradient which eliminates hot spots and rings for illumination applications. LedEngin High Efficiency 10 Watt LED Lenses are available in three viewing angles--12º Narrow Spot beam, 23º Narrow Flood beam, and 37º Flood beam. Designed specifically for the 10 watt single color emitter series, these lenses
are made of optical grade PMMA material which allows for use of high
current and temperature conditions. Included holder fastens to the PCB
with appropriate adhesives, such as epoxy or polyurethane-based, and are
compatible with LedEngin standard MCPCB assemblies.
LedEngin LZP Series 90W LED Emitters
LedEngin LZP Series 90W LED emitters generate up to
5500 lumen (CCT of 5500K) and 3000lm (CCT of 3100K) in an unprecedented
compact 12mm x 12mm package. LedEngin LZP Series high
performance LED emitters replace 35W metal halide (MH)
bulbs or 50W high pressure sodium (HID) bulbs achieving the high flux
required in applications such as high bay lighting, architectural
lighting, street/area lighting, and stage and studio moving heads. LedEngin
LZP Series LED emitters provide spatial color uniformity
across the radiation pattern and a consistent CCT, CRI over time and
temperature. Complementary TIR lenses coupled with the LZP Series
LEDs
exceed the luminance of competing LED solutions by 6 to
10 times. The combined emitter and TIR lens produce a
superior light
quality, homogeneous beam pattern, and crisper image for a more natural
perception of the light.
LedEngin LuxSpot™ Alta High Performance LED Module
The LedEngin LuxSpot™ Alta high performance LED module delivers more than 6,000 Lux at 21 watts of power, beating traditional 75W halogen MR16 lamps in performance at 10 times the service life. LuxSpot Alta shares the same sleek, compact form as the standard LuxSpot with over double the lumens and lux, opening up additional track and downlighting applications previously unattainable with LED solutions. The high quality, uniform light, and excellent color quality coupled with its high-performance lumen output - over 1200 lumens in 5500K - makes the LedEngin LuxSpot Alta the product of chocie for many retail, hospitality, and commercial directional lighting applications.
LedEngin 40W LED Emitters -- EXPANSION
LedEngin has further enhanced its line of high-performance, ultra-compact 40W LED emitters with new Warm White, Cool White, Neutral White, RGB, RGBA, and RGBW devices. These 40W LED emitters from LedEngin provide industry-leading luminous flux density in a compact 9mm x 9mm
footprint. LedEngin 40W RGB, RGBA and RGBW LED emitters provide a
brilliance of colors across the entire color spectrum with outstanding
color mixing and uncompromising performance. The ability of these 40W LED emitters to configure multiple red, green and blue high-brightness die within a very small area creates a superior, flexible, dynamic colored lighting source for architectural, decorative, and entertainment lighting applications. The RGBW LEDs provide tunable white and softer pastels.
