| C2000 Renewable Energy Developer's KitThe Texas Instruments C2000™ Renewable Energy Developer's
Kit lets designers implement all the major functions of a solar or
renewable energy system. The TI Renewable Energy
Developer's Kit is designed for quickly evaluating C2000
microcontrollers (MCUs) for power conversion applications at a safe
input voltage and power level. This TI C2000 development kit offers all
the voltage and current measurement hooks so that designers can create and test
new technologies and techniques. The TI Renewable Energy Developer's
Kit comes with a solar board that allows for evaluation of various
pieces of a solar energy system and takes in a DC input from a
panel or any other DC source and offers various power electronics hardware to
implement all the functions of a solar energy system. The C2000 Renewable Energy Developer's Kit is a scaled down version of
digitally controlled DC/AC inverter. With a maximum power output of 45
watts, the EVM board is capable of syncing to an external AC line and
managing a back up battery. The EVM board provides all the necessary
current and voltage measurements necessary to implement advanced
algorithms, such as maximum power point tracking. The kit includes an
F2808 controlCARD, renewable energy EVM, 32KB limited CCS V3.3, and
full hardware and software documentation.
