Solid Tantalum Chip Capacitors The 893D Series Solid Tantalum Chip Capacitors from Vishay/Sprague are Tantamount®, molded-case, built-in-fuse miniature capacitors that offer 100% matte tin standard termination with tin/lead available. Vishay/Sprague's 893D Series capacitors are compatible with "high volume" automatic pick and place, offer fuse activation at 25ºC:0.1 s max. with 5 A min. applied current, have an electrically activated internal fuse, and are 100% surge current tested (D and E case codes). Electrical characteristics of the 893D Series are operating temperature range of -55ºC to +125ºC, capacitance range of 0.47µF tp 470µF, voltage rating of 4 VDC to 50 VDC, and capacitance tolerance of ±10% and ±20%. The molded package is available in three case codes.
