TI MSP430BQ1010 Receiver-Side Communication ICs

Texas Instruments MSP430BQ1010 receiver-side communication and power monitoring ICs for wireless power are advanced fixed-function devices that form the control and communications unit on the receiver side for wireless power transfer in portable applications. TI MSP430BQ1010 receiver-side communication and power monitoring ICs are the control and communications unit that comprises the digital logic part of the receiver. The TI MSP430BQ1010 executes the relevant power-control algorithms and protocols, monitors various voltage and current levels, and provides feedback to the transmitter via the communications modulator. These TI communication and power monitoring ICs are specifically configured and pre-programmed to be fully compliant with Wireless Power Consortium (WPC) standards. The WPC has developed a standard for wireless charging technology to ensure interoperability between various primary and receiver devices. The TI MSP430BQ1010 is designed for use in low-power (<5W) portable devices powered by Li-Ion batteries.
