Parallax BASIC Stamp® MCUs & Project BoardParallax BASIC Stamp® MCU Interpreter Chips are recommended for high volume applications or those with limited PCB real estate. Parallax BASIC Stamp® MCU Interpreter Chips can be used on your own PCB as an OEM solution, providing all of the features that you have grown to appreciate in the corresponding BASIC Stamp modules. Parallax BASIC Stamp® 1 Project Board is a low-cost reintroduction of the original BASIC Stamp in a HomeWork Board type platform that has become a standard for students, hobbyists, and professional engineers. Parallax BASIC Stamp® 2px MCU is 1.6 times faster than the BASIC Stamp 2p, and is useful for those that have previous experience with the BS2p and need more speed or special I/O configuration functions.

Parallax BASIC Stamp® 1 Project Board
|
Parallax BASIC Stamp® 1 Project Board is a low-cost reintroduction of the original BASIC Stamp in a HomeWork Board type platform that has become a standard for students, hobbyists, and professional engineers. The Parallax BASIC Stamp® 1 Project Board includes everything necessary to get started with microcontroller applications at minimal expense, including the BS1 Project Board, solderless breadboard, bag of 10 jumper wires, and documentation. Several BASIC Stamp 1 demonstration programs are installed with the Windows BASIC Stamp Editor. Additional demonstration and application files may be downloaded from Parallax.
Features
- BASIC Stamp 1 microcontroller built right into the board
- I/O pin protection resistors (220Ω) makes the BS1 Project Board "student safe"
- Wall-pack (2.1mm center-positive plug) or 9-volt battery power supply connections (mechanically interlocked to prevent dual connection)
- Voltage regulator delivers up to 40mA of power for circuits
- DB9 connector for Stamp-IC programming and DEBUG communication during run-time (includes serial adapter circuit and requires Windows BASIC Stamp Editor, V2.1 or higher)
- 1 3/8" x 2" solderless breadboard for external components
- PCB prototyping area configured for several convenient options
- Mounting holes for permanent installation into your projects

Parallax BASIC Stamp® 2px MCU
|
Parallax BASIC Stamp® 2px MCU is 1.6 times faster than the BASIC Stamp 2p—executing approximately 19,000 PBASIC
instructions/sec—and includes a built-in voltage comparator (with I/O
pins P0, P1, and P2) as well as built-in, user-configurable Pull-up Resistor, Schmitt Trigger, and Logic Threshold
circuitry on every I/O pin. All vital components, including processor,
clock source, memory, and power regulator, are provided on the BS2px's tiny PCB. The Parallax BASIC Stamp® 2px MCU is useful for those that have previous experience with the BS2p and need more speed or special I/O configuration functions. BASIC Stamp 2px Enchanced PBASIC also includes new commands from those on the BS2p and BS2pe, such as CONFIGPIN and COMPARE. In order to use the BASIC Stamp 2px, users need to download and install BASIC Stamp Editor v2.2 available for free download from www.parallax.com.
