TE Connectivity offers the Fortis Zd Backplane Connectors as a modular backplane connector
system that combines commercial high-speed technologies with proven
MIL-SPEC contacts into a user configurable platform. Developed to
withstand the demanding shock and vibration requirements of military and
aerospace applications, the Fortis Zd Backplane Connectors
feature a rugged design for extreme mechanical and electrical
performance in harsh environments. Featuring proven Mini-Box
contacts, which provide four points of contact on all sides of the pin,
and a higher pin count to allow data rates of 10 Gbs+, the Fortis Zd Backplane Connectors support higher bandwidth requirements in real-time intelligence systems.
