Solderless LED Sockets
as an integrated electrical and optical solution for the
Cree XLamp® MP-L™ LEDs
.
TE's Solderless LED Sockets for Cree XLamp® MP-L™ LEDs
enable power to be provided to the
LED
using either a
LED-to-board
or
LED-to-wire
solution. The
LED-to-wire
solution features TE's AMP
Mini CT connector
which plugs into the socket. For conventional
PCB
mount applications, the
board-to-board
solution provides an electrical connection between the electrical pads on the
LED
substrate and pads on the printed circuit (PC) board. To give the designer innovative integration possibilities, the
LED-to-inverted wire
solution supplies power to the
LED
from underneath the PC board by wiring the
AMP Mini CT connector
