Molex HDMI™ Type-D Micro Connectors
First to Manufacture the World's Smallest Standard I/O Interconnect
The Molex HDMI™ Type-D Micro Connectors are the world's smallest standard I/O interconnect for hand-held consumer electronics. The HDMI Type-D Micro Connectors are half the size of the current Type-C (Mini) connectors, but deliver equivalent mechanical strength and electrical characteristics, as well as meet HDMI 1.4 specifications. With a 0.40mm (.016") pitch dual-row receptacle, the Molex HDMI Type-D Micro Conectors offer 5,000 mating cycles for durability in mobile applications, friction lock on receptacle shell for excellent retention force and tactile feel when mating, rear receptacle-shell-over-housing design to prevent damage to PCB receptacle, and a receptable terminal hold-down feature to prevent terminal stubbing. The Molex HDMI Cable Assembly is Type-D to Type-A. The Molex HDMI Type-D Micro Connectors deliver high-definition video and images from digital cameras and mobile devices to flat-panel screens.
