SEGGER J-Link and J-Link EDUSEGGER J-Link and J-Link EDU are USB-powered JTAG emulators designed for ARM cores. Based on a 32-bit RISC CPU, they can communicate at high speed with a large number of supported target CPU cores. SEGGER J-Link connects via USB to a PC running Microsoft Windows 2000 or later. It has a built-in 20-pin JTAG connector, which is compatible with the standard 20-pin connector defined by ARM. SEGGER J-Link EDU is designed for educational purposes. Both emulators are natively supported by IAR EWARM, KEIL µVision, Rowley Crossworks, and CodeSourcery G++. Via GDB-Server, the supported tool-chains also include Atollic TrueStudio, Yagarto, and other GDB based or compatible development environments.
