Panasonic Electronic Components PAN1720 Series Bluetooth Low Energy Module

Panasonic Electronic Components' PAN1720 Series Bluetooth Low Energy Module is a single-mode module designed especially for applications that communicate with a dual or single-mode Bluetooth low energy device, such as mobile phones, PDAs, and Laptops. The PAN1720 series from Panasonic Electronic Components includes a Bluetooth low energy stack that currently supports the Proximity and Battery profiles. In addition, the PAN1720 Series module is manufactured in a very small (15.6 x 8.7 x 1.9mm³) SMD package with shielded case and will be qualified to the Bluetooth 4.0 standard. The PAN1720 series also offers supply voltage range from 2.0V to 3.6V (typ. 3.0V), operating temperature range from -40ºC to +85ºC, two powerful USARTs with support for several serial protocols, full-speed USB 2.0 interface, and 19 general-purpose I/O pins (17x4mA, 2x20 mA).
