Compact Surge and ESD Protection Devices

Bourns SMxJ TVS Diodes come in compact chip package-size formats for surge and ESD protection applications. These Bourns Transient Voltage Suppressor Diodes meet the needs of the portable communications, computing, and video equipment markets for increasingly smaller electronic components. The SMAJ, SMBJ, and SMCJ feature a surface mount package design and standoff voltage from 5.0 to 170 volts. These Bourns TVS Diodes also provide power dissipation of 400W (SMAJ), 600W (SMBJ), and 1500W (SMCJ). SMxJ devices comply with IEC 61000-4-2 ESD (Min. Level 4), IEC 61000-4-4 EFT, and IEC 61000-4-5 Surge industry standards.
