Infineon SmartLEWIS™ TDA523x Receiver
The Infineon SmartLEWIS™ TDA523x autonomous RF receiver scans a system for important information and wakes it up when something relevant is available or lets it continue to sleep. This Infineon autonomous RF receiver with integrated digital baseband takes over the polling, does the required filtering, slicing, and framing of the received data stream, and makes the payload available via the data FIFO. The TDA523x offers ultra low system power consumption and allows the host MCU to wait in lowest power sleep mode for the End of Message interrupt, slowly wake up, and pick up the data from the data FIFO. This Infineon receiver is suited for any short range application in the sub 1 GHz frequency bands, including remote control systems, security systems, automated meter reading, and remote keyless entry.
Infineon ProFET® BTS 5012/14/16SDA Smart High Side Switches
Infineon's ProFET® BTS 5012/14/16SDA smart high side switches provide embedded protection against overload, overtemperature, and short circuit in a variety of automotive and industrial applications. The devices feature a power transistor built by an N-channel vertical power MOSFET with charge pump and a design based on Smart SIPMOS® chip-on-chip technology. The switches offer current controlled input and diagnostic feedback with load current sense and defined fault signal in case of shutdown caused by overload, overtemperature or short circuit, as well as a ReverSave® channel that switches on in case of reverse polarity.
Infineon XC886/888CLM 8-bit Microcontroller
Infineon’s XC886/888CLM high performance 8-bit microcontrollers (MCUs) with on-chip Flash memory integrates a CAN controller and LIN support on a single chip for advanced networking capabilities. The on-chip CAN module reduces the CPU load by performing most functions required by the networking protocol, including masking, filtering, and buffering of CAN frames. The Infineon device provides up to 32KB of embedded Flash memory, an intelligent PWM unit, 10-bit ADC, a CORDIC, and a multiplication division unit for fast mathematical computations. The device provides an optimized fit to a wide range of CAN networking applications, including automotive body, control for industrial and agricultural equipment, building control for elevators and escalators, intelligent sensors, distributed I/O modules, and industrial automation.
