Mouser Electronics salutes champion driver Tony Kanaan for his tenacity in the GoPro™ Indy Grand Prix of Sonoma at Infineon Raceway, held on August 26. Kanaan raced the No. 11 Mouser Electronics/GEICO/KV Racing Technology Chevrolet/Firestone IndyCar to a Top-10 finish on the famous California track.
Kanaan's determination comes as a reminder of his Sonoma victory in 2005, when IndyCar returned to the Californian track after a 35-year hiatus. Though Kanaan did not achieve the second victory he wanted, his ability to forge ahead, despite mechanical set-backs, proved him once again to be a road course master at Sonoma Valley.

"Tony is one of the best drivers out there, and his ability to drive really comes out when the car is under performing," says Larry Johannes, Mouser Electronics' Vice President of Strategic Marketing. "We're looking forward to watching the degree to which he excels in the final two remaining races of the season."
"I definitely had a top-six car today," states Kanaan. "The first lap I broke my front wing and even with that problem I got up to seventh place...We continue to fight..."
