Mouser Electronics, Inc., a leading global distributor of semiconductors and electronic components, is gearing up with Tony Kanaan for the final race of the IndyCar season at Fontana on October 19.
The MAVTV 500 IndyCar World Championship occurs at the Auto Club Speedway in Fontana, California. As this year’s Indy 500 champ, Kanaan continues to break the consecutive race record every time he drives onto a track. He scored the record-setting accomplishment with his 212th consecutive race at this summer’s Grand Prix of Baltimore. IndyCar racing’s Iron Man currently sits at 361 points on the strength of six top-10 finishes including five top-five showings, three podium finishes and a victory at the 2013 Indianapolis 500.
“A big finish at Fontana would be the icing on the cake,” said Todd McAtee, Mouser Vice President of Business Development. “It’s been an exciting season, an unforgettable season for all of us here at Mouser as well as for our highly-valued co-sponsors. We are so proud to be a part of it.”
