The Honeywell Limitless™ WGLA Series Global Limit Switches combine the best of MICRO SWITCH™ global limit switches with the latest off-the-shelf wireless technology. The Honeywell Limitless series can be used for position sensing and presence / absence detection in remote monitoring applications where wiring or wire maintenance is not physically possible or economically feasible. The Honeywell Limitless WGLA Series Global Limit Switches are based on 802.15.4 point-to-point communications and can be configured to potentially allow up to sixteen devices to communicate with one receiver module.

What about battery life?
All battery life depends on usage and operating temperature. The more diagnostics added, the higher the battery drain. Honeywell's switches average 1 - 3 years of battery life and feature a low battery signal.

What about wireless signal range?
Limitless devices have a 305 m/1000 ft. line-of-site range without using repeaters, depending on antenna type.

Is there potential for cross-talk from other wireless devices?
Each paired switch and receiver uses a unique security key. So there is virtually no chance for cross-talk with another system in close proximity.

What if the RF signal is lost or interrupted between the Limitless switch and the monitor / receiver?
The Limitless Series repeatedly attempts to re-establish the RF communication link until successful and at the same time will notify the user that there is an insufficient RF signal.

Honeywell has developed the Limitless switch software to ensure that a device you install today will be able to communicate with replacement, additional, and new devices in the future.
