Honeywell Sensing and Control Omnipolar Magnetic Position Sensors
|
|
The Honeywell Omnipolar Hall-effect Digital Position Sensors, SS351AT and SS451A, are small, sensitive, versatile sensors that are operated by the magnetic field from a permanent magnet or an electromagnet. They are designed to respond to either a North pole or a South pole. With a typical operating point of 85 G at 25ºC (77ºF), the Honeywell position sensors are available in two package styles: the SS351AT in the subminiature SOT-23 SMT, and the SS451A in the leaded, flat TO-92-style package. |

Honeywell PX2 Heavy Duty Pressure Transducer
Honeywell's PX2 Series is a line of Heavy Duty Pressure Transducers housed in stainless steel for use in moderately harsh environments. The PX2 Transducer uses piezoresistive sensing technology with ASIC (Application Specific Integrated Circuit) signal conditioning. The wide operating temperature range, up to IP69K protection, and CE compliance make the series suitable for use with moderately harsh agents such as brake fluid, refrigerants, engine oil, hydraulic fluids, and compressed air. Typical industrial applications include HVAC/R, air compressors, factory automation, pneumatics, valves, solar energy, and emissions monitoring. Transportation applications include system pressure, light hydraulics, brake and engine oil pressure, transmissions, and truck/trailer air braking. The PX2 Heavy Duty Pressure Transducer from Honeywell is engineered to be highly configurable, allowing designers to choose the form factor and functionality needed to meet specific application requirements. Honeywell HumidIcon™ Humidity/Temperature Sensor
Honeywell HumidIcon™ offers a lowest cost solution with it's combined Humidity/Temperature Sensor. Honeywell's Total Error Band provides true accuracy of ±5% RH over a compensated range of 5 °C to 50 °C [41 °F to 122 °F] and 10% RH to 90% RH. True, temperature-compensated digital I2C output allows the removal of the components associated with signal conditioning from the PCB to free up space and reduce costs associated with those components. HumidIcon™ comes in an ultra small SOIC-8 Surface Mount Device package. Possible applications include HVAC/R systems, sleep apnea machines and ventilators, incubators/microenvironments, air compressors, weather stations, and telecom cabinets.
Honeywell NSC Series TruStability Pressure Sensors
Honeywell 's NSC Series Pressure Sensors
measure absolute, differential, and gauge pressures. The NSC Series is unamplified and uncompensated and offers infinite resolution on the pressure signal. These Pressure Sensors are part of Honeywell's TruStability® family, and are ideal for those who want to leverage a custom algorithm and do their own compensation, calibration, and amplification. While allowing the flexibility of self-calibration, users still benefit from Honeywell's industry-leading stability, accuracy, and repeatability.
Honeywell SMART Position Sensor Expansion
Honeywell's SMART Position Sensor portfolio now includes the SMART Position Sensors Arc Configuration. They are available in two sensing ranges: 0º to 100º and 0º to 180º. These sensors have numerous applications for transportation, industrial, military, aerospace, and medical devices.

Honeywell SL353 Series Digital Hall-Effect Sensor ICs
Honeywell offers the SL353 Series Micropower Omnipolar Digital Hall-Effect Sensor ICs that are operated by the magnetic field from a permanent magnet or an electromagnet. These devices are small, versatile and provide low-power sensing for a variety of battery-operated and mobile equipment. Since Honeywell's SL353 Digital Hall-Effect Sensor ICs respond to North or South poles, it is not necessary to identify the sensor's magnet polarity, which reduces system costs and allows easier installation. Honeywell's SL353 Series sensors also offer energy efficiency with a supply voltage as low as 2.2 Vdc, push-pull output that doesn't require an external pull-up resistor, non-chopper stabilization design which eliminates noise, and two duty cycle configurations, the SL353HT and SL353LT, that offer a high and low duty cycle, respectively, to accommodate applications with high and low switching speeds. These sensitive devices also use BiCMOS (Bipolar Complementary Metal Oxide Semiconductor)
technology and a timing circuit that monitors the amount of time the
sensor is on, significantly reducing average current consumption.
Honeywell SSC Series Pressure Sensors, Liquid Media Option - EXPANSION
Honeywell has expanded its TruStability® SSC Series Standard Accuracy Silicone Pressure Sensor product family to now include sensors with the Liquid Media Option. The Liquid Media Option allows one port of the sensor to be used with condensing humidity or non-corrosive liquid media, such as de-ionized water. Originally, Honeywell's SSC Series silicone pressure sensors were intended for use with non-corrosive, non-ionic gases such as air and other dry gases. The availability of this liquid media option eliminates the burden and expense of the end user having to protect the sensor from this type of media. Honeywell's SSC Series pressure sensors offer a miniature sized package (10mm x 10mm), low operating voltage, total error band of ±2%, ratiometric analog output with digital output option, full calibration and temperature compensation, pressure ranges from 1 psi to 150 psi (60 mbar to 10 bar), insensitivity to mounting orientation, and much more. Honeywell TruStability® HSC Series Pressure Sensors with Liquid Media Option - Expansion
Honeywell has expanded the TruStability® High Accuracy HSC Series Silicon Pressure Sensor product family to now include sensors with a Liquid Media Option. Traditionally, Honeywell's silicon-based pressure sensors
have been limited to use with non-corrosive, non-ionic gases such as
air and other dry gases. Now, with the new single side Liquid Media
Option, end users are able to use one port of the sensor with condensing humidity or non-corrosive liquid media,
such as de-ionized water, eliminating the burden and expense of having
to protect the sensor from this type of media. Honeywell's TruStability®
high accuracy HSC Series Silicon Pressure Sensors with the Liquid Media
Option offer industry-leading long-term stability, extremely tight
accuracy of ±0.25%, total error band of ±1%, low operating voltage,
analog or digital output, calibration over a temperature range of 0ºC to 50ºC (32ºF to 122ºF), and more. View Entire Series
