Honeywell Nanopower Series Magnetoresistive (MR) Sensor
ICs are ultra-sensitive devices designed to accommodate a wide range of
applications with large air gaps, small magnetic fields and low power
requirements. The sensor ICs respond to either a North or South pole
applied in a direction parallel to the sensor. They do not require the
magnet polarity to be identified, simplifying installation and
potentially reducing system cost. These sensor ICs use a very low
average current consumption and a push-pull output which does not
require a pull-up resistor. The sensor ICs can operate from a supply
voltage as low as 1.65 V, promoting energy efficiency. The Nanopower
Series is available in two magnetic sensitivities to accommodate a
variety of application needs: SM351LT: For applications requiring ultra
high magnetic sensitivity (7 G typical operate, 11 G maximum operate)
and a very low current draw (360 nA typical). SM353LT: For applications
requiring very high magnetic sensitivity (14 G typical operate, 20 G
maximum operate) and a very low current draw (310 nA typical). These
Magnetoresistive Sensor ICs, Nanopower Series, are supplied in the
subminiature SOT-23 surface mount package on tape and reel (3000 units
per reel), for use in automated pick-and-place component installation.
Honeywell TBP Basic Board Mount Pressure Sensors, which are Temperature Compensated/Unamplified, are piezoresistive silicon pressure sensors designed for customers who require a simple, high quality, cost-effective, basic performance, mV output, unamplified, temperature-compensated sensor for use in medical and industrial applications.
These unamplified and temperature-compensated sensors offer infinite resolution of the pressure signal. They will operate as specified from 0 °C to 85 °C [32 °F to 185 °F]. The TBP Series is often ideal for those customers who want to do their own amplification in order to make use of the maximum resolution of the bare sensor output, leveraging any algorithm needed for the application. They are available with several package styles and mounting options, making it easier for device manufacturers to integrate the product into their applications.
The TBP Series measures gage pressures. Gage pressure sensors are referenced to atmospheric pressure and provide an output proportional to pressure variations from atmosphere. They are intended for use with non-corrosive, non-ionic gases, such as air and other dry gases, and for non-corrosive, nonionic liquids when the silicone gel coating option is selected. All products are designed and manufactured according to ISO 9001.
Honeywell TSC TruStability Pressure Sensors are temperature compensated and unamplified. These piezoresistive silicon board mount pressure sensors eliminate the need for system calibration over temperature and also offer reduced part-to-part variation. The series measures differential or gage pressures and are intended for use with non-corrosive, non-ionic gases. Numerous package styles and mounting options are available.
Honeywell SS360PT/SS460P Hall-Effect Sensor ICs are high sensitivity devices that have a built-in pull-up resistor. The series includes SS360PT, activated by a North pole and SS460P, activated by a South pole. Operated by the magnetic field from either a permanent magnet or an electromagnet, the series offers reliable switching points with a high sensitivity of 30 G typical (55 G maximum). External components can be eliminated with the use of the integrated pull-up resistor. This can help reduce the system cost. Operating temperature is -40ºC to 125ºC while accepting a dc supply voltage from 3Vdc to 24Vdc. Response to low magnetic fields and repeatable operation can lead to better motor efficiency, making the SS360PT/SS460P series ideal for use in brushless dc motor manufacturing.
Honeywell PX2 Heavy Duty Pressure Transducers are housed in stainless steel for use in moderately harsh environments. The PX2 Transducer uses piezoresistive sensing technology with ASIC (Application Specific Integrated Circuit) signal conditioning. The wide operating temperature range, up to IP69K protection, and CE compliance make the series suitable for use with moderately harsh agents such as brake fluid, refrigerants, engine oil, hydraulic fluids, and compressed air. Typical industrial applications include HVAC/R, air compressors, factory automation, pneumatics, valves, solar energy, and emissions monitoring. Transportation applications include system pressure, light hydraulics, brake and engine oil pressure, transmissions, and truck/trailer air braking. The PX2 Heavy Duty Pressure Transducer from Honeywell is engineered to be highly configurable, allowing designers to choose the form factor and functionality needed to meet specific application requirements.
Honeywell RTY Hall-Effect Position Sensors are designed to sense rotary movement of the actuator shaft. Eight operating ranges from 50º up to 360º, with linear error or 1%, allow for flexible monitoring in multiple applications. The device is housed in an IP-67 sealed package, suitable for use in harsh transportation and industrial applications. Both North American and European pinout styles are available. Low voltage and high voltage models are offered with an input voltage range of 4.5 Vdc to 30 Vdc. Other features of the Honeywell RTY Hall-Effect Position Sensors include automotive-grade EMI/EMC testing, integrated reverse polarity, and short circuit protection. New models include options with lever and inverted output.
Honeywell HumidIcon™ offers a low cost solution with it's combined Humidity/Temperature Sensor. Honeywell's Total Error Band provides true accuracy of ±5% RH over a compensated range of 5 °C to 50 °C [41 °F to 122 °F] and 10% RH to 90% RH. True, temperature-compensated digital I2C output allows the removal of the components associated with signal conditioning from the PCB to free up space and reduce costs associated with those components. HumidIcon™ comes in an ultra small SOIC-8 Surface Mount Device package. Possible applications include HVAC/R systems, sleep apnea machines and ventilators, incubators/microenvironments, air compressors, weather stations, and telecom cabinets.
Honeywell Zephyr™ Digital Airflow Sensors: HAF Series (High Accuracy) provide high sensitivity and accuracy (2.5%) for very precise measurements of airflow (or absence of airflow) and other non-corrosive gases in medical and industrial applications. The HAF Series Sensors feature high stability to reduce errors due to thermal effects and null shift to provide accurate readings over time. The high stability often eliminates the need for system calibration after PCB mounting and periodically again over time. HAF Series offers enhanced reliability, digital accuracy, and repeatable measurements. The combination of rugged housings with a stable substrate makes these sensors extremely robust and the sensors meet ISO 9001 standards. Also available now is the Honeywell Zephyr™ HAF Series of Analog Airflow Sensors that provide an analog interface for reading airflow over the specified full-scale flow span and temperature range. The analog version was designed for users who are either replacing legacy analog parts or who prefer to operate with an analog sensor. With the newest models, this series offers the industry's
broadest airflow sensing range, from as low as 10 SLPM to as high as 300

The TruStability® HSC Series Pressure Sensors are comprised of piezoresistive silicon and offer ratiometric output for reading pressure over the specified full scale pressure span and temperature range and measure pressure ranges from 60 mbar to 10 bar (1 psi to 150 psi). Honeywell's high accuracy HSC Series features analog/digital output with ±1% total error band, SMT, and DIP. The sensors are
used for a wide range of medical and industrial applications and were originally
intended for use with non-corrosive, non-ionic gases such as
air and other dry gases (meet ISO 9001). Now available are the HSC Series
Pressure Sensors with a Liquid Media Option that allows one port of the sensor to be used with condensing humidity or non-corrosive liquid media, such as de-ionized water. Ultra-Low Pressure Sensors now available as well.

The Honeywell VF401 is a high performance, digital, 2-wire, MR sensor in a miniature, flat, TO-92-style plastic package with a current output, designed for sensing fine pitch ring magnets. The Honeywell VF526DT has 2 Hall sensing elements in a thermoset molding material precisely located 1, 4mm apart on a single integrated circuit chip. 2 active Hall latches provide speed and direction indication of an alternating magnetic field across the face of the package.
