Hirose Electric FH40 0.5mm Pitch FPC Vertical Connectors
The Hirose Electric FH40 0.5mm Pitch FPC Vertical Connectors with a strong actuator construction and simple FPC insertion result in a 30% reduction in connection man-hours over conventional FPC connectors in earlier series. Designed to provide a reliable mechanical and electrical connection with FPC even in rough operating environments, these halogen-free, vertical connectors feature Hirose's innovative actuator form enabling the completion of both FPC insertion~ joint in the same motion, side catcher to ensure accurate FPC
insertion, proven "flip-lock" rotating actuator design with tactile
confirmation lock to assure a secure connection, and an unique terminal
form to retain the actuator. In addition, these connectors are
compatible with the standard 0.3mm thick FPC and have a 5.8mm
above the board height. These highly reliable and durable connectors
have a 0.5A DC current rating, 50 Vms AC, -40 to +85⁰C operating
temperature range, -10 to +50⁰C storage temperature range, 50 MΩ minimum
at 100V DC, no flashover or insulation breakdown at 150 Vrms AC / one
minute, 50 mΩ maximum with no damage, cracks, or parts discoloration for

Hirose DF57 Series 1.2mm Pitch Swing Lock W2B Connectors
Hirose constructed the DF57 Series 1.2mm Pitch Swing Lock Wire to Board Connectors with a low profile and a unique swing lock structure to provide highly reliable connections. The Hirose DF57 Series 1.2mm Pitch Swing Lock W2B Connectors feature a stacking height of 1.44mm for an effective mating height of 0.42mm, swing lock with both positive and friction locks for cable pull-force resistance, high lance structure, and integral molding to prevent solder wicking. These wire-to-board connectors have a rated voltage of 50V AC/DC and a rated current of 2.0A or 2.5A depending on the number of contacts. Hirose ZX360 Series Micro USB 3.0 Connectors
Hirose ZX360 Series Micro USB 3.0 Connectors are ideal for small handheld device applications such as medical and measuring equipment, MP3 players, notebooks, and much more. Fully backward compatible with micro USB 2.0, the ZX360 Series was designed with a data transmission speed up to 5Gbps, enabling seamless data transfer rates and and uncompressed transmission of High Definition movies and pictures. Hirose FX10 Series B2B Connectors with Ground Plate
The Hirose FX10 Series B2B Connectors are 0.5mm pitch headers and receptacles with optional ground plates
on both sides of the header and receptacle to improve transmission
characteristics. Signal and ground are arranged in a ratio of 10:1 with
the ground plate SMT connected to the board. The ground stability
achieved serves to reduce noise. With a stacking height of either 4mm
or 5mm, the FX10 series comes in 80, 100, 120, and 140 contact positions. provides additional solder weld strength through metal fittings. Hirose's FX10 Series B2B Connectors without the grounding plate have been filled with additional signal contacts (96, 120, 144, and 158 contact positions). These board-to-board connectors feature
a rated current of 0.3A and a rated voltage of 50VAC. Ideal for
notebook computers, PDA, and other miniature electronic equipment.
Hirose has expanded the FX10 Series to include 10+ Gbps 0.5mm Pitch B2B Connectors. Hirose offers the 10+ Gbps 0.5mm Pitch B2B Connectors as an electrical interface for the OIF 100G Long-Haul DWDM Transmission Module (MSA-100GLH). These connectors provide
excellent signal integrity with a differential impedance
of 100 ± 10ohms at 30ps rise time (20% to 80%) and an insertion-loss-to-crosstalk ratio (ICR) with five-aggressor differential FEXT that meets the extrapolated IEEE 802.3ap specification for 10+ Gbps.

Hirose FX18 Series Hi-Speed B2B Connectors
The Hirose Electric FX18 Series Hi-Speed B2B Connectors are headers and receptacles, right angle or straight, with a 0.8mm pitch for coplanar or vertical connection. The FX18 features
high-speed transmission capability up to 10Gbps and multi-functional
(MF) contact (ground contact, power supply contacts up to 12A, and
3-step sequential contacts). With a large mating guide for smooth
insertion, the Hirose Electric FX18 Series Hi-Speed B2B Connectors
mate with a signal contact of 2.0mm and offer a voltage rating of
AC100V. MF contacts are phosphor bronze with gold-plated
contact area and mounting area and nickel-plated under plating.

Hirose DF40 Series 0.4mm Contact Pitch B2B/B2FPC Connectors
The Hirose DF40 Series 0.4mm Contact Pitch Board-to-Board / Board-to-FPC Connectors offer a space savings with the world's shortest depth of 3.38mm (0.4mm contact spacing and 1.5mm height). The DF40 Series allows high density of board-mounted components making the connectors ideally suited for small device applications such as mobile phones, digital cameras (DSC), digital video cameras (DVC), and other portable equipment. Despite the connectors' small size and low profile, the contacts provide strong contact forces and long contact wipe (0.45mm), guaranteeing reliable electrical and mechanical performance. The connectors will self-align within 0.33mm. A positive "click" sensation confirms correct insertion and connection of all contacts. Other features of the Hirose DF40 Series 0.4mm Contact Pitch B2B/B2FPC Connectors are built-in shock absorption, solder wicking prevention, and contact area protection. Hirose HR30 Series IP67 Connectors with Overmold Feature - EXPANSION
Hirose has introduced an Overmold version of the HR30 Miniature Waterproof Plastic Connectors. Once overmolded, the HR30 connector is rated IP67 for complete protection against dust and water penetration when submerged one meter deep for half hour. After overmolding, the water resistant structure is suitable for cable harness cleaning.
The HR30 connectors are short in length when fully terminated and mated and feature a built-in lock/release mechanism that securely locks the mated connectors while allowing a quick disconnect by simply pulling on the plug's release collar.
