Hendon Semiconductors IES5523A Temperature Controller
The Hendon Semiconductors IES5523A temperature controller with adjustable time-out meets key safety requirements for a range of personal and home applications by stopping triac operation after a preset time, which switches off the power applied to the heater element. This Hendon Semiconductors simple zero-crossing triac control circuit includes a time-out indicator pin that can be used to drive an LED circuit to indicate that the appliance has now gone into "time-out" mode. The IES5523A temperature controller with adjustable time-out also features zero-crossing triggering of a triac in applications where it is controlled by a resistive sensor, such as an NTC thermistor. The Hendon Semiconductors IES5523A is suited for temperature control of the heating element in cooking / heating appliances, hair-styling tools, and other appliances that require a safety time-out.
Hendon Semiconductors IES5507 Buffered 4-Channel I²C Bus Switch
The Hendon Semiconductors IES5507 buffered 4-channel I²C bus switch features a uni-directional buffer for the clock signal with a bi-directional buffer for the data signal. The Hendon Semiconductors IES5507 buffered 4-channel I²C bus switch includes fast switching time that enables operation in excess of 1 MHz and makes the device ideal as an interface between buses operating at different frequencies, which is essential in 2-wire bus systems with sections on the bus operating at different clock frequencies. The Hendon Semiconductors IES5507 allows each of the channels to be impedance isolated from all the others to allow for a maximum possible capacitance load. The bus switch works with I²C-bus (Standard, Fast Mode, and FM+), SMBus (standard and high power mode), and PMbus.
Hendon Semiconductors Temperature Control ICs
Hendon Semiconductors' temperature control ICs are designed to increase performance and sensing capabilities in a wide range of thermostat applications. Hendon's OM1654A triac control IC features zero-crossing switching of resistive loads for low EMI and is an ideal replacement for a traditional bimetallic switch. The IES5521A features a time out timer for safer use of heating appliances. The OM1682A is designed for use in circuits that drive inductive and resistive loads where greater accuracy is required and external input/output access would be beneficial.
