FCI BarKlip Bus Bar Connectors are specifically designed for applications requiring a direct pluggable connection to an uninsulated bus bar, BarKlip connectors generate very low energy loss, with a maximum resistance of only 0.2mOhms per connector. The BarKlip contact design features 10 fully independent cantilevered beams, which provide a true compliant spring to adjust for variations in bus-bar alignment and surface finish. In addition, the BarKlip connectors low profile design, <25mm installed height, enables their use in 1U rack-mounted equipment commonly used in Datacenters and new Hyperscale Computing architectures.
FCI Minitek Pwr™ Wire-to-Board and Wire-to-Wire Connectors features include fully isolated terminals to prevent them from potential damage during operation, scoop-proof housings to ensure terminals are not compromised during angled mating, and a high retention force to secure terminals in their housings. Target applications include display systems, set-top boxes, electrical lighting, chemical detection systems, medical equipment, and data storage devices.
FCI 1.2mm Wire-to-Board Connectors are low profile (mated height of 2.50mm) and compact with 3, 4 and 6 pin counts. The compact design of the 1.2mm pitch wire-to-board connector features an enclosed receptacle profile with lead-in features that assist mating in tight spaces. Unlike conventional connectors, the plug and receptacle of these compact connectors feature a frictional mating technique, which delivers an excellent retention force and supports up to 20 mating cycles. The 1.2mm connector suite features a voltage rating of 50V, and a current rating of 0.5A per contact. It is able to withstand voltages as high as 500V AC up to a minute, and has an operating temperature range of -25ºC to +85ºC.
FCI SFP+ LR Transceiver features sub-Watt power
consumption and excellent EMI performance allowing for system designs
with high port density. The SFP+ optical transceiver is compliant with
the SFP+ MSA specifications (SFF-8431, SFF-8432 and Diagnostic Monitor
Function SFF-8472) and with 10GBASE-LR/LW per IEEE 802.3 as well as
1200-SM-LL-L per 10G Fibre Channel. It is RoHS 6/6 compliant per
Directive 2002/95/EC and laser class 1 safety compliant per IEC/CDRH.
FCI E Series Smartcard Connector with 500K mating cycles is recommended for high durability applications. The E Series Smartcard Connector uses landing contacts and a sealed card detection switch. FCI patented landing mechanism ensures increased durability and offers an efficient mechanical solution to prevent vandalism as contacts are recessed when no card is inserted. The E Series smartcard connector is suitable for harsh environments with features including: high mating cycle connector suitable for heavy-duty systems and has the ability for direct connection to PCB (thru-hole or SMT) or via a flexible printed circuit.
FCI AirMax VSe connectors provide a migration path for up to 25Gb/s per
differential pair with backwards mating-compatible interfaces to AirMax
VS headers and receptacles. AirMax VSe maintains the open pin field
design maximizing pin assignment flexibility and contains no
interleaving shields reducing connector weight, cost and PCB routing
complexity. The connectors combine FCI technologies for a shield-less
design with innovative design improvements to yield low loss and
crosstalk. Right-angle receptacles and right-angle headers will support
backplane, midplane, coplanar or orthogonal midplane applications.
FCI AirMax VS2 connectors provide a migration path for Airmax VS for speeds up to 12.5 Gb/s per differential pair with the flexibility of an open pin field design. The connectors are backwards compatible to existing AirMax systems and leverage the VS2 and VSe design features and technology to achieve improved signal integrity and mechanical attributes compared to AirMax VS connectors. Optimization of materials and manufacturing processes further contribute to improved price/performance. The connector utilizes FCI technology for a shield-less design with no metallic plates and closely edge-coupled differential pairs design improvements to yield low loss and crosstalk.
FCI ExaMAX™ High-Speed Backplane Connectors deliver superior performance
from 25Gb/s up to 40Gb/s for next-generation designs. ExaMAX's
revolutionary beam-on-beam contact interface provides two reliable
points of contact and minimizes the residual stub to eliminate unwanted
insertion loss resonances. The series unique stub-less contact
interface, balanced differential pairs and an optimized overmolded
structure provides a smooth, very well-controlled impedance signal with
very low crosstalk throughout the connector over the entire 20 GHz
bandwidth. ExaMAX's excellent signal performance and scalable
capabilities make it ideal for switches, routers, optical transport,
wireless infrastructure, servers, external storage systems,
FCI RotaConnect™ Rotatable Board-To-Board (BTB) Connectors are designed
to support perpendicular, coplanar and angled connections in multiple
mating/un-mating directions. These hermaphroditic
connectors accommodate any angle between +90º and -60º, enabling it to be placed anywhere on the PCB. The design allows a single part
number to house both male and female contacts. Constructed using a high temperature
thermoplastic UL-94-V0 housing material, RotaConnect BTB Connectors are
reflow soldering compatible and offer a current rating up to 5A,
operating voltage of 125V, and a temperature range of -40ºC to +125º.

FCI Universal Contacts are SMT contacts that provide an electrical connection between a device and a PCB. Constructed without a housing and in accordance with FCI GS-12-500, the single-position, single contact helps designers make their devices thinner. The Universal Contacts from FCI are commonly used for connecting devices such as an antenna to a printed circuit board assembly. FCI USB 3.0 Type A Connectors are standard A receptacles with right angle and vertical styles. FCI Mini-SAS HD Cable Assemblies and Connectors are next-generation SAS storage interfaces for 6GB/s to 12GB/s channel
bandwidth requirements that meet or exceed the respective SAS 2.1 and SAS 3.0 specifications. Mini-SAS HD provides greater port density (11mm port-to-port) versus the existing Mini-SAS 2.0 product (19.01mm port-to-port), and is fully compliant with SFF-8643 and SFF-8644 industry specifications. Internal and external connector configurations of the Mini-SAS HD include 1x1(4x), 1x2 (8x), 1x4 (16x), and enables 4x and 8x internal and external cable assembly solutions. The Mini-SAS HD
profile design is fully compatible with PCI Express requirements and architectures.
The FCI PwrBlade+™ Connector is a next generation AC/DC power distribution connector system for demanding applications requiring higher linear current density and low power loss. It is capable of 192A/linear inch with eight adjacent high power contacts energized simultaneously and ≤ 0.7mΩ power contact resistance after environmental exposure. The PwrBlade+™ Connector builds on the PwrBlade® connector's proven technology but includes enhancements to achieve increased performance and density. It is rated up to 75A per power contact without exceeding a 30°C temperature rise in still air. The PwrBlade+™ Connector also features a highly vented, halogen-free housing design, a low power contact option for applications with multiple voltages and lower power requirements and half-bullet guides for a reduced connector footprint.

FCI MINITEK 127 Board to Board & Wire to Board 1.27mm Connector System contains an extensive modular range of connectors for all types of wire to board and cable to board applications. It includes straight and right angle, surface mount and through mount, different plating variations, and pin counts up to 100 positions. FCI MINITEK 127™ 1.27mm Connector System is not a proprietary system and is therefore intermateable with other common designs. Housed in high-temperature, black thermoplastic, MINITEK 127™ series features a flammability rating of UL 94 V-0 and an operating temperature range from -40ºC to +85ºC. The electrical current rating is 1 A continuous and the voltage rating is 125V.
