FCI USB 3.0 Type A Connectors
FCI USB 3.0 Type A Connectors are standard A receptacles with right angle and vertical styles. They are highly reliable connectors compliant with the physical, electrical, and environmental requirements of USB 3.0. These USB 3.0 receptacles offer the same interface as the USB 2.0 standard A with added pins for superspeed USB signals.
FCI Mini-SAS HD Connectors
FCI Mini-SAS HD Cable Assemblies and Connectors are offered as
the next generation SAS storage interface for channel bandwidth
requirements of 6 Gb/s to 12 Gb/s that meet or exceed the respective SAS
2.1 and proposed SAS 3.0 specifications. Mini-SAS HD provides greater
port density (11mm port-to-port) versus the existing Mini-SAS 2.0
product (19.01mm port-to-port). FCI’s Mini-SAS HD product is fully
compliant to the SFF-8643 and SFF-8644 industry specifications. Internal
and external connector configurations of the Mini-SAS HD product
include 1X1 (4x), 1X2 (8x), and 1X4(16x) and enables 4x and 8x internal
and external cable assembly solutions which include EEPROM
communication. In addition, the Mini-SAS HD profile design is PCI
Express compatible, and can be used in PCI Express architecture
applications.
FCI PwrBlade+™ Connector
The FCI PwrBlade+™ Connector is a next generation AC/DC power distribution connector system for demanding applications requiring higher linear current density and low power loss. It is capable of 192A/linear inch with eight adjacent high power contacts energized simultaneously and ≤ 0.7mΩ power contact resistance after environmental exposure. The PwrBlade+™ Connector builds on the PwrBlade® connector's proven technology but includes enhancements to achieve increased performance and density. It is rated up to 75A per power contact without exceeding a 30°C temperature rise in still air. The PwrBlade+™ Connector also features a highly vented, halogen-free housing design, a low power contact option for applications with multiple voltages and lower power requirements and half-bullet guides for a reduced connector footprint.
FCI Multi- & Single-Port RJ45 Modular Jacks - EXPANSION
FCI has expanded its line of modular jacks to include Multi- & Single-Port RJ45 Modular Jacks with through-hole mount and optional LED and EMI shielding. The Multi- & Single-Port RJ45 Modular Jacks are available with 8 or 10 positions and 8 contacts.
FCI Modular Jacks include single and multi-port solutions that
are widely used in telecom, data, networking and home entertainment
markets for various applications. The Modular Jacks feature a
simple, flexible, and low profile design for LAN application, in
particular, the Network Interface Card. Features of the FCI Modular Jacks
include right angle or straight, through mount or SMT, 4, 6, or 8
positions (fully or selectively loaded), single to stacked multi-ports,
shielded or non-shielded, as well as options for inverted latch,
standard, raised or low profile versions, and snap or diamond pegs. Modular Jacks
Cat 3 supports the transmission of 16Mbps signals targeted to phone,
modem, POS terminal machines and Cat 5 supports the transmission of

FCI Micro HDMI Type D Connectors
FCI Micro HDMI Type D Connectors are extremely small, high reliability
connectors ideally suited for next-generation compact audio / video data
PCB layout aimed at HDMI Rev.1.4 and 3D signal transmission. The Micro
HDMI Type D Connectors are half the size of the current Type C (Mini)
connectors, durable to 5,000 mating cycles, and comply with physical,
electrical, and environmental requirements of HDMI 1.4

FCI AirMax VS® (Virtual Shield) Connector System is based on a
unique connector design that eliminates the need for interleaving
shields by using air as a highly efficient dielectric between
conductors. The elimination of these shields reduces the connector
weight, cost, and PCB routing complexity. AirMax VS gives designers the
flexibility to develop their present systems for 2.5 Gb/s to 6.25 Gb/s,
and the scalability to grow their systems to over 12 Gb/s without having
to perform a costly redesign to the basic platform. AirMax VS
connectors demonstrate exceptionally low insertion loss and
crosstalk characteristics, and are available in both 2 and 3
mm centerlines to simplify signal routing with 3, 4, and 5 pair
configurations. FCI Airmax VS Connectors are well-suited for a wide

signal modules, and the availability of power and guide modules to

FCI MezzoStak™ 0.5mm Pitch Board-to-Board Mezzanine Connectors
feature a hermaphroditic "mates-to-self" design using the same part
number for both mated sides, reducing inventory and administration
costs. MezzoStak
connectors ensure highly reliable performance with guidance "scoops" to permit easy mating when
mis-aligned, polarization to prevent mis-mating, dual-point mating for

Featuring a single-row design, these connectors are available with 2 to 15 circuits. RoHS compliant and UL approved, FCI 1.25mm W2B Connectors are ideally suited for POS ticketing, industry control, motor/robot control, security, and handheld device applications.
FCI High Power Card-Edge Connectors
FCI's High Power Card-Edge (HPCE™) Connector is the next
generation power card edge connector that satisfies the demands of
applications requiring high linear current density and low power loss.
The HPCE connector offers a low profile height (2.8 mm for
straddle mount; 7.50 mm for right angle) and is based on FCI’s cost
effective and highly reliable stamped-and-formed power contact
technology. Rated to 9A per power contact beam (with multiple power
contacts fully energized) without exceeding a 30ºC temperature rise in
still air. The FCI HPCE connector is available with a single molded
housing that integrates power and signal contacts for power distribution
and control. The HPCE connector is modularly tooled enabling it
to be to be highly configurable for custom power designs in terms of the
number and placement of power and signal contacts. Ideal for pluggable
AC and DC power supplies or board-to-board connections for power
distribution in applications such as next generation 1U/2U servers,

FCI MINITEK 127 1.27mm Connectors
The FCI MINITEK 127™ 1.27mm Connector System contains an extensive modular range of connectors for
all types of wire to board and cable to board applications. It includes
straight and right angle, surface mount and through mount, different
plating variations, and pin counts up to 100 positions. The FCI MINITEK 127™ 1.27mm Connector System
is not a proprietary system and is therefore intermateable with other
common designs. Housed in high-temperature, black thermoplastic, the MINITEK 127™
series features a flammability rating of UL 94 V-0 and an operating
temperature range from -40ºC to +85ºC. The electrical current rating is
1 A continuous and the voltage rating is 125V.

FCI DDR3 Memory Module Sockets
The FCI DDR3 Memory Module Sockets are designed to accept 240-position DDR3 memory modules as per JEDEC MO-269. FCI´s DDR3 memory sockets are available in low-contact resistance versions that support the use of RDIMM. The very low profile (VLP) form factor option provides an overall connector height of less than 20.6mm and complies to the JEDEC SO-007 specifications. The FCI DDR3 Memory Module Sockets
allow convenient memory expansion in servers, workstations, desktop
PCs, mobile PCs, and embedded applications in communications and
industrial equipment.
FCI USB A & B 2.0 Connectors
The FCI USB A & B 2.0 Connectors achieve speeds up to 480 Mb/sec and are keyed and color-coded for different voltages. The FCI USB A & B 2.0 Connectors offer 12,000 high durability cycles to meet high-end applications. Available in through-hole and SMT versions, the USB Connectors feature PCB mounting options by position, orientation, and hold-down. The FCI USB A & B 2.0 Connectors are commonly used as a standard I/O connection in industrial, instrumentation, medical, and automotive industry applications.
FCI DDR2 Memory Module Sockets
The FCI DDR2 Memory Module Sockets accept industry-standard FB-DIMM, DIMM, or SO-DIMM assemblies. The 240-position vertical connectors for the DDR2 Fully Buffered DIMM feature 1.0mm pitch dual-row edge contacts and accept modules that confirm to JEDEC MO-256. The 240-position, 1.0mm pitch module interface, vertical sockets for DDR2 dual in-line memory modules (DIMM) accept assemblies that confirm to JEDEC MO-237. The 200-position right-angle sockets (0.6mm pitch) accept DDR2 Small Outline DIMM per JEDEC MO-224 and the 144-position right-angle SO-DIMM socket for 16b/32b peripheral applications accepts DIMM assemblies compliant with new JEDEC registered outlines. The FCI DDR2 Memory Modules Sockets allow convenient memory expansion in servers, workstations, desktop PCs, mobile PCs, and embedded applications in communications and industrial equipment.
FCI PwrBlade® Cable Assemblies and Connector System
FCI's PwrBlade® Cable Assemblies and Connector System include power and signal contacts to provide power distribution and power control in a single connector. The PwrBlade power distribution connector system is ideal for robust power connections to embedded AC/DC power supplies or for board-to-board connections in servers, storage enclosures, and communications equipment. The FCI's PwrBlade cable assemblies mate with PwrBlade right-angle or vertical board-mounted headers.
FCI VLP Series - Industry's Lowest Profile FFC/FPC
FCI announces the new VLP Series FFC/FPC 0.5mm Pitch Flexible Circuit Connector with the industry's lowest mounted profile (0.7mm). FCI's VLP series is ideal for height-constrained applications including smart phones, touch screens, small displays, handheld medical devices, industrial meters, and portable instruments. Available in 4, 8, and 10 positions, the surface mountable VLP FFC/FPC 0.5mm Pitch Flexible Circuit Connector features a zero insertion force (ZIF) cable insertion and a backside flip design, as well as a cable locking feature to provide high retention force. The FCI VLP series is lead- and halogen-free with gold-plating.
FCI DensiShield™ I/O System
